This was the central part of the strip, very friendly and welcoming. From the instant, I walked in. Bar staff was very friendly, and I will definitely recommend this to others who are planning to have a breakaway here.
I would really hope they get their food menu up and out there in the market for people to enjoy.

We called in for a pint yesterday as we are staying in the caravan park literally behind. Really freindly lady we think she might be the land lady. The beer was delicious. A lovely, clean fresh pint. Thank you.

Very friendly staff and good food. What else do you need?
We arrived a group of 22 adults and children super hungry for breakfast. They prepared all the orders pretty quickly and in good quality without any mistakes.
Thanks for feeding the hungry crowd!

I’m so pleased I read the reviews. As other reviewers have posted from the outside this pub looks very functional but once you’re in the food is excellent. The menu is not extensive but caters to all tastes and is done well. The prices are reasonable and when we went for lunch on Saturday the man behind the bar was really friendly. Do not judge this book by its cover because the insides are yummy.

I was here in February. It was my first time in Camber Sands. I came down there with a friend who has a holiday home there. The staff was absolutely amazing, they made me feel really welcomed. Going back to Camber in June and will definitely be visiting this pub again.😊

Don't judge a book by it's cover, nice interior and the food came out in a decent time with a smile. The portion sizes are very generous. Even the chicken nuggets on the kids meal were actual bits of chicken battered not brought chicken nuggets. Very impressed. It's very rare that I give a 5 star review.
Omg the dessert (cookie dough pie) was to die for.
Thanks to all the staff tonight made us feel very welcome even with a toddler.

Really tasty food, lovely staff, quite quick to be served and big portions.
Don't let the exterior put you off, the diner is calm and quite lovely.
We were recommended by another person staying at pontins and we weren't disappointed. Make sure if you park your car in the carpark, that you enter your reg when you walk in to avoid a ticket (parking is free).
Location is about 10 seconds from leaving pontins on the left.
We will return!

Never judge a book by its cover! We had the roast dinner, talk about amazing, tastes like home made. Large portions and didn't wait too long. Staff were very helpful. Prices were good. Would definitely go back if in the area.
My advice, GIVE IT A TRY!

This is some of the best food in Hastings not just camber. The portions are huge, the prices are great. Staff were polite and welcoming.. The chef knows how to cook castle pie and the steak was cooked to perfection.. All six of us finished dinner.. Thank you. You could see us tomorrow from the Jones family

Popped in tonight as we had a bad dining experience at Pontins restaurant the night before. From the outside we were really unsure what to expect. We were greated at the bar with a friendly smile who directed is upstairs to the restaurant. Newly refurbished and just as friendly upstairs. We were unsure if they could cater for us as we were a group of 13 but within a few minutes two tables were pushed together and we were seated. A really good selection of food and drinks available. The food was really tasty and good value for money too. We will certainly re visit again. Thank you!

Lovely pub restaurant, great food, very friendly staff, best place to eat in the area. There was Live band on Saturday night, mix or holiday makers and locals very friendly people had a great night. Well worth a visit. They even gave me an umbrella to walk back to my holiday camp so i didnt get wet.
