Petals Tea Room

Friendly service and the most delicious proper homemade scones I’ve tasted outside of a home. All cakes, sausage rolls, marmite sausage rolls, date brownies, clementine and rhubarb Victoria sponge to name but a few of the yummy treats are baked on the premises by one of the owners. Worth a detour for!

Had a lovely afternoon tea, great food, great service

Absolutely fantastic! We had one vegan and one gluten free afternoon tea, which were both delicious. The scones especially were phenomenal.

Contacted Petals on the off chance that they might have options available for us yesterday and they couldn't have been more accommodating. The owners are lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back.

What a wonderful place this is. A warm welcome from the friendly staff, a wonderful selection of homemade cakes, scones, sandwiches and more. The best part for me is that they have a great selection of gluten free cakes and always at least one vegan option. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We came to Petals for my baby shower and had the afternoon tea. Couldn’t believe the choice of food and how it was all home made. Amazing service, beautiful cakes and lovely atmosphere. We were made to feel welcome from start to finish and I would definitely recommend!

I hadn't been to Petals however had heard good feedback. I was looking for somewhere to take my mum on her 90th Birthday and so my partner and I popped in.
We were very pleased with the welcome and returned as a party of 4 for my mum's birthday celebrations.
Very pleased we did.
Comfortable and calm environment.
A variety of age groups there.
Quality food.
'Proper' tea with a China cup and saucer and tea strainer.
Lovely cakes.
Great service.
Good value.
Parking.
We will return.

We came across petals completely by accident and so glad we did. This tea shop is amazing not just the food and drink but the staff and owners from the moment we walked in we felt welcome the atmosphere in the shop is fantastic its the best customer service we have come across in a long time we had tea scones sausage rolls and the most amazing cake we will definitely be returning and bringing more of out family

Went in for tea and cake and they are so welcoming, and didn't rush us at all (which we really appreciated)

The homemade cake selection is absolutely amazing and whilst we didn't have any of the savoury options they all looked very tasty and I will be going back there soon to try out more!

Lovely bright and airy building, with parking onsite (if you are in a wheelchair though I would recommend parking on the street by Petals as the stones in the carpark may make it hard to wheel through (not a criticism, just for information). Fully accessible.

Last, but definitely not least the gentleman that served us was so nice and checked on us throughout.

Highly recommend and we will be back soon (I will get photos to add next time!)

This review is long over due. If you want the personal touch, with it all homemade then this place is great. We go most weekends and the staff make you feel so welcome and the guys always have time to say hi. They also do crafts and the scarfs that are done by Kevin are wonderful..so you can pick up gifts, homemade chilli jam and have a coffee and cake or breakfast all in one visit.

Beautiful tea room with delicious cakes and vintage tea ware. A must stop when in Sandringham! The cakes were delicious and good gluten free options too.

Our first visit to Petal's Tea Room today, very impressed with the lovely light decor, cleanliness, also unusual hand made gifts on sale. Friendly staff & the owners very accommodating. Both of us had a traditional cream tea,. Very tasty, a good assortment of scones to choose from too, my husband had a sausage roll which was served up with a small salad type dish & said it was one of the nicest one's he had eaten.
Our two little dogs were made very welcome each offered treats. We will definitely return very soon.

Spotted this tearoom after leaving Sandringham. A great little find. Delicious fruit scone (which was warm) and clotted cream. Definitely worth a visit.

Met our daughter and granddaughter here on our way to Sandringham. 3 of us ordered quiche which was served with small pot of coleslaw and cherry tomatoes and great grandson had gluten-free sausage roll. Food and drinks served with a smile, very pleasant and friendly service. Quiche was delicious and cost was very acceptable. We would certainly visit here again if in the area Thank you

Large selection cakes and sponges. This tea rooms. Would make an ideal bridge club. Excellent service 👌 lovely staff 👍
