Humbles

Called in on a very sunny Sunday for some lunch.
Seaham was very busy, but surprisingly, this cute little cafe wasn't.
We chose to sit outside in the sunshine, and it was beautiful.
Two adult meals and a child meal were just over 20 pounds, which I thought was very reasonable.

We had a rather impatient lady take our order, but after that, the girls were pleasant and made us feel welcomed.

The chips were exceptionally good. I would definitely return here.

Great little place. Very friendly. Great service. Lovely choices of food. Excellent coffee. Breakfast was so delicious I forgot to take a photo - what a grand excuse to revisit.

Another visit to Humbles today(Sunday). Friendly staff, good service. My 'homemade' fruit scone was a bit disappointing - didn't taste at all homemade - not sure what the fruit ham was - it had little taste - won't be my choice on another visit. However Sunday lunches looked delicious. Enjoy your visit.

Food was well cooked, very flavourful and came quickly.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. We went and it was busy yet the two girls serving seemed to have everything running smoothly for the front of house.
Would love to come back and would defo recommend to anyone in the area

There was a warm homely greeting as we came in the door, immediately felt at home. Downstairs was full and we were shown upstairs to extra seating with a seaview over the green.
We only wanted brunch, there was a great choice on the menu. The food was just what we had hoped for, delicious and freshly prepared, so tasty.
All of the staff were so friendly and attentive, nothing was a problem.
I would recommend travelling to Seaham just to eat here.

I got probably one of the best salads when eating out! I never understand how cafes and restaurants struggle with a decent salad but Humbles are top notch.
Everyone else's food looked amazing too.
We'll definitely be back!

Really nice scrambled egg on toast and coffee for breakfast. Opening time on Google suggests it's open at 10am but its definitely earlier. Nice atmosphere and clean. Reasonably priced

Was looking for a lovely salad for lunch and came across Humbles in the foodie group on facebook. Called to see whether we needed to book a table and the lady advised we did and so we booked in for lunch. Service was great, our waitress was friendly and polite. My boyfriend got the bacon cheeseburger and i ordered the bacon, brie and chicken salad. Both were beautiful (boyfriend even went as far to say it was the best burger he ever had!!) my salad was exactly what i fancied (a far cry from the usual lettuce, tomato and cucumber you’re likely get in other places). Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, carrot ribbons, small dice peppers and red onion with lovely warm chicken and bacon, which wasnt fatty, and brie. (Ooh and some coleslaw!)

I know to some a salad is just a salad but this was bloody gorgeous. Made my day to find something that really hit the spot.

Beautiful little cafe, very friendly staff. What makes this place special is its cosy atmosphere and high quality products, all the food, hot drinks and desserts I've tried here so far are delicious! Would recommend 100%.

Will be back, breakfast cooked fresh tasted healthy not greasy at all, friendly and welcoming staff, staff showed me around even though she was busy, place it self spotless and decor lovely as you can see, have up stairs, down stairs and outside, can’t wait to have afternoon tea there xx

Visited for the first time this week. We had the best quality breakfast we’ve had in Seaham (we are locals) and we’re delighted with the quality of the bacon and sausage - not a plate full of grease like you get in some neighbouring places! Lovely coffee too. Great price and a warm welcome
