Wickes Hertford

I was sent on an errant by my father not really knowing what he wanted apart from “clear sealant for the bathroom”. When a very helpful member of staff called Abi asked if she could be of any help. She guided me through the brands and what worked best she even offered to speak to my father on the phone to ensure I’d pick up the correct one.

Her customer service was amazing and I will definitely be returning as it’s not often hardware store staff are so understanding!

Excellent customer service by a Wickes employee called Nicki. She was very professional and helped me choose floor and wall tiles, bathroom fittings and a shower tray. She is an outstanding member of your staff and deserves the highest accolade.

I wanted to say a big "Thank you" to William who helped us to sort and lift 25 heavy boxes of tiles for us at the weekend. He was kind enough to help us immensely inside the store and to lift them into the truck for us too. This sort of customer service goes a long way, thank you and we'll be back.

The store is very clean and well spaced and has a lot to choose from. There are dividers for safety at the tills and you have to wear a mask. I felt very safe. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I couldn't find the colour paint I wanted and a guy mixed some up for me. He was smiling and very approachable.

Git everything I needed in a short time. Social distancing good here. Just could use more hand sanitisers on way in. There was a queue to pay at checkouts even though the store was not busy but it flowed nicely so all good.

Wickes have become a proper DIY store, by stocking a wide range of appropriate products. Even their own brand stuff is good these days. They are also very good with online sales and swift deliveries.

Over the last 3 months we have used Wickes , Hertford. They have been brilliant, from online to click and collect in store. Felt totally safe with procedures in place and staff who I came in to contact with were fantastic. Thank you

Came to click and collect some timber. Exceptional service from Andy who exchanged wonky timbers for me, without even being asked. Definitely would recommend.

Because it's easy to get too easy to Park 3 the Park staff and nice helpful and they do almost everything that's do with building

Great COVID measures with a one way system, screens, contactless, etc. Large carpark and lots of choice.

Good sized retail park with other shops. Burger/tea hut in car park. Yummy.
