AJ Hardware DIY

Such a wonderful shop, I and my parents use it all the time. We also use their excellent key cutting service for work. They stock many items, can often order things in, prices are good - often cheaper than mainstream hardware shops, and of course you save on petrol costs from travelling. Always great customer service too.

Fantastic range of items for a shop and the staff are very helpful and polite. We always try AJ's first as it saves us from a long trek across town. Pricing is very good and if he hasn't got it then he will try and get it for you. I really recommend you give them a visit.

Little Aladdin's cave full of all sorts of DIY bits and pieces plus other hardware.
Also they're the local Calor gas stockists,so if you need a refill for your BBQ or caravan you can always pop in.

i went in to use their key cutting service, however came out with so much more, as the key duplication service is while you wait - gave me time to walk around and find all sorts of bits and bobs! and they charge so much less than the other shops in town!

Once inside you realise that this shop stocks everything from pet food/pet supplies to calor gas bottles/bottled gas. They also have a large variety of fuels for the winter (logs/coal/homefire).

Definitely recommend these guys for key cutting!

AJ Hardware has everything you could possibly need! The owner is very helpful and clearly has good knowledge to give you honest advice. There was a wide range of everything - there wasn't anything I needed that I could not find. Excellent quality and great prices! Definitely would recommend!

A refreshingly old school hardware shop.

I made a transaction by using my debit card, the store keeper said that my card declined and I paid cash. Few days later my bank debited my account for the same transaction I paid cash. My bank is investigation this transaction and its stile on going. My advice is, DON’T use your debit card at this store. The store owner will tell you that he did not request the money but my bank advised me he did. If you make a debit card transactions at this store please keep your receipts.

Gone downhill since change of ownership. Owner is so rude I'd be surprised if he still has a business in another year.

very poor service after I went in to discuss purchasing gas bottle. Man was very short and fired prices at me, told me to go the B&Q if I wasn't sure which bottle to buy! got the impression he is in the wrong job!
