Great lil shop, one of the reasons I go to Newark.
Real ales are reasonably priced, craft stuff can be expensive but then that's more the brewers than the retailer..

Super nice guy who is really knowledgeable and helpful about the beers. Great variety of delicious beers. As with most craft beer, they were not cheap, but excellent quality and worth the money.

Great little place if you love real ale and belgian beers! With a few German ones mixed in. Really food selection and the owner is very nice aswell. Definitely the place to buy beer in the local area 👍

10/10 customer care experience! I ordered a Belgian taster selection and a Trappist gift set for standard delivery, however the parcel got damaged so could not be delivered. Richard was so quick to resolve the issue! He posted a new order for next day delivery at no extra cost which I have received and am very happy with. Would recomment to anyone who enjoys drinking good beer!

Have ordered online a couple of times as I received gift vouchers. First order in the summer worked without a hitch. This time there was a slight issue with the voucher being accepted online and the first delivery attempt failed as the package was damaged on the way BUT the customer service and the response times were excellent, sometimes things happen but it's the way they were dealt which makes the difference! The selection of beer is great and I will definitely use again.

I purchased a single, pint sized ‘Bruges Zot’ beer glass before Christmas via the Amazon link. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line there was an error and I was sent the 33cl size instead.
I contacted the Real Ale Store and, literally, within a couple of hours I’d had not only a reply and an apology but confirmation that the correct glass was on its way. Sure enough, within a couple of days the correct glass arrived. Both packages were extremely well packed.
It’s rare to find customer service on this level and I can’t recommend the store enough.

Great selection of UK craft, real ale and imported European beers - covering an extensive selection from Belgium too. Knowledgeable and competitively priced also!

Really great local ale store with a fantastic and wide selection of beers. They even managed to source some Beavertown "Bloody 'El" which is incredibly hard to get. You can buy cheaper at the supermarket but with a tiny fraction of the choice and with no advice! Great place to try new beers.

Ordered online after stumbling upon the website in search for Blue Monkey ales. Absolutely spot on selection of ales for my tastes and fantastically quick service too. Will be where I get beer online from in future, cheers 👍

Great selection of foreign, craft and traditional ales rarely found anywhere else. Brewster's my favorite, when in stock. Friendly service too & public parking bay outside.

Bought 5 German wheat beers today, great selection of other IPA’s as well. The bloke was really helpful in his customer service, this could be a weekend thing!
