A very welcoming local store and post office. George who serves the post office counter at times is particularly helpful and the post office section of the store is great as it's open till 11 at night.

Very efficient store and assistants very good to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble. M

Prompt & friendly service at the post office counter. Courteous & knowledgeable staff.

I shop here often for items like bread, milk etc. Post office needs an extra serving point, as you can see it causes issues. Had to leave for the second occasion, without a First Class stamp. Should really sell those at regular check-in tbh.

I always find the staff are pleasant, and that's why it gets 4* instead of a 3* in my opinion only.

Handy shop but prices a bit steep. Friendly staff.

Slow service

Friendly staff, and store is clean but 2 major issues:
1. Pricing is always wrong from display to tills. Have to bring this up at the till all the time. Shouldn't have to be over charged all the time when Spar is already notoriously pricey.
2. Older lady with short hair works the morning shift. She's polite but unfortunately she is just way too slow on the tills. She ignores customers to focus on other tasks at the till and causes a lot of frustration at people who wish to buy things and go. Just really, really slow. May be worth utilising her elsewhere in the store and having a faster worker on tills.

One member of staff very rude. Talking about customers after they had left the shop and calling them rude. We were standing in the queue while the man was getting served at the post office counter. It was disgusting what she was saying about the poor man just because he said he would take his business elsewhere. She wants to look at herself! Look to her own manners! I now wonder what she says about me when I leave the store. Definitely not supervisor material. Not a good example to younger, less experience members of staff especially the way she talked about the poor old man after he had left the store, or she thought he had. He came back and asked for her name. She was rude while he got her name and more rude after he left. Don't think I'll use this Spar again!

Costa machine turned off on Christmas day. Managers excuse was because it's Christmas...makes no sense. Went to a different spar and the machine was on. Manager tells lies and Costa are losing profit which I will report

I would recommend but everything is so expensive for example wine is £6 but in the other shop it’s £4.85 and for water it’s £2.40 in the other shop it’s £0.99
