Heron Foods

Heron isn't the obvious shop to go to when you want some light shopping or frozen food items. When I went in I was pleasantly surprised with the range of goods on offer, the prices were competitive and there were familiar brands sitting alongside unknown cheaper brands. This isn't the shop for fruit and salads although they had a few. The shop was spacious, clean and well laid out.

This discount supermarket is my go to place for weekly provisions. There's always great offers to be had here.

Great little shop, 2 mins from home very convenient. People always comment about it being more expensive than big named supermarkets but that's not always true, have a look online at deals or spend a few minutes looking through the aisles.

I've found many better deals mainly on frozen food items and icelolly/Icecreams and sweet stuff for the children and is actually cheaper and better deal combos than the big stores. This does include alcohol too.

Can I weekly shop here on a budget NO, but I absolutely can do a mini shop to get through the hectic weekend until I can get to do my main shop. I can do a junk food treat/movie night last minute and bottle of booze grab too should the mood and pennies allow.

Clean shop, really lovely staff, and the convenience of parking outside if you need it. I really like this shop.
