Tesco Express

Makes sense, this express is obviously targeted at the college kids, whilst the adults can go to the Tesco Extra just up the road. Anyone complaining about it is probably thinking about convenience for themselves rather than who it's actually meant for 🤷🏻‍♂

Food selection, in my opinion, is no different to other express stores that I've visited. Aisles are wide and there's also 3 card-only self-checkouts.

Is not as good as what it used to be when it was the big store as it used to have lots of stuff but now has barely anything.

Helpful staff, tiny frozen section (small bag peas = £2.70), awkward queuing for self checkouts. Inevitably more expensive than the now closed nearby Metro store. Not the place for choice or value.

Small and expensive, just as bad as Waitrose… Thankfully the staff are kind, That’s Tesco’s saving grace for this store.

Always find staff are quite confused in store and don't really attempt to rectify any issues with the POS systems not working. Often products are marked up at incorrect prices and on 2 occasions now I have found the self scan machines read barcodes incorrectly for a different product but had the female staff member on tills was frustrated at the fact that I didn't want to pay extra. I also overheard her moan to her colleague that I was voiding a transaction. I felt this was very unprofessional and belittling. Won't bother using any cirencester branches going forward if this is how people are treated.

Disappointed as to what stock they carry. It’s so small and the queue to pay is poorly arranged . The aisles are so wide and actual retail product space sparse . The elderly population can’t easily get to the large Tescos, so this smaller one would be a lifeline and not just aimed at the the smaller student population.

Very bad customer service. One of the member of your staff he treat me very bad. Other members of the staff are very good and polite.
