House of Gallet

I came across this absolute gem of a shop in Arlesford on Saturday. The shop and the products themselves are amazing, but for me it is the ladies who own it that are the real stars of the show. So wonderful to talk to and you can tell they have a real passion for what they do. Will most definitely be back!

Beautiful shop, vintage, designer wear exchanged and second hand, shoes, clothes, bags. The mother and daughter team go out of their way to help. You can find you the perfect outfit here for any occasion. So romantic. Beautiful fabrics, shapes and styles. Felt like Audrey in Breakfast at Tiffany.

I found this little "gem" of a shop, by winning a The House of Gallet Personal Styling Session with Carol. Not only did I walk away with what felt like half the shop, and an almost entirely new wardrobe, it was the most glorious way to send a morning (highly recommend this!).

Beautiful designer clothes handed to me (I didn’t have to leave the dressing room), undivided attention from both Carol and Jo, honest recommendations (the biggest test – they tell you what “not” to buy), excellent pricing, delicious cappuccinos, great banter – I walked away having spent my precious time with two people I would like to see again!

And my clothes – I LOVE every item of my unique wardrobe. From shoes to handbags, trousers to skits, shirts to jackets and hats and jewelry! And I have not just done this once since then – I don’t shop anywhere else, you are so worth the travel!

An absolute gem of a shop in the heart of Alresford. Unbeatable quality and prices. Keeping with the spirit of the age, resourcing clothes of top brands that would otherwise end up barely used or totally unused. It is not often you can pick up a pair of Chanel shoes for £170! Other finds were Valentino, Paul Smith and Emporio Armani not to mention eclectic and hip brands from New York all at prices below the £50 mark. Jo and Carol have a real fashionista eye combined with classical elegance. The only downside...I never walk out of there empty handed!!!! It would be a crime if I did!

I can honestly say that even I don't mind my partner going there as the prices are so attractive! It keeps her out the more expensive stores. Indeed, House of Gallet has saved me a fortune! A great addition to ladies' shopping in the area...and it is Green as it is the recycling of the highest quality designer clothes!

Such a pleasure popping into the House of Gallet. I’m Always greeted with a sunny smile & I feel right at home - Like playing in my sister’s wardrobe. Love it

Fabulous shop with some amazing finds from international labels. Super friendly and helpful ladies too. A must visit if you are in Alresford.
