Pets at Home Hertford

Came in to buy things for a new puppy as she's nearly ready to go out and about. Was met by Lee when we were deciding between harnesses and she was excellent! Talked us through the various VIP club benefits, answered all our questions and upsold superbly with a great knowledge base and no pushy techniques. Ended up buying a new bed, 2x crates (2 cars!) Harness and food! With new member discounts and puppy discounts through the app I couldn't be happier!

This branch is wonderful. But pricey sometimes but always great stock available.
Staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable. They remember you after a few visits and always ask about your animals.
Having the groomer and vet on site is also mega convenient.

I shop here regularly for supplies for my British Shorthair. It's clean and well maintained, the animals look happy and their pens always look clean and tidy. They have a huge selection of specialist food for animals here and essentials that every pet needs. Staff are always friendly and helpful, i enquired about the refund policy for pet food as I was worried if my British Shorthair wouldn't like her new food. They said as long as at least half a bag full is returned for a refund, you get your money back and the food goes to cats in shelters, how nice!

Very helpful and compassionate when my dog was very unwell and the prognosis was bad. She has now been diagnosed as diabetic. She is on one injection a day with no problems. Bounces around with a renewed interest in life

Helpful friendly staff clean and tidy lots of stock

Very helpfull and friendly staff. It is a large store, and caters for most of your household family friend's. They have a onsite veterinary and groomers. It's a grate store, and I travel much further than I need to just to got to that store.

I visited a couple days ago to pick up a click and collect. I had my hands full and lovely Tina offered to carry all my stuff to the car and put it in for me! Not part of her job at all but she offered and done it all with a welcoming smile.

Friendly staff, lots of dog toys and treats ample parking. Vet efficient, knowledgeable and overall good. Didn't recommend unnecessary procedures for my dog and thoroughly looked over him (not just for his injury). Dogs are allowed in the store and ample parking outside

Friendly staff and good selection of things for all pets. There are also live animals from rabbits to rats with an area for cold and tropical fish. They sell live insects for feed.
There is an in house vet and a dog grooming service.

Has all you could ever need, your furiend can accompany you, and the staff are lovely and most helpful. Their app is not half bad either and it's just about better to visit the store than order online.

Great shop, lovely helpful and friendly staff, they always go above and beyond to help or answer any questions. They stock everything you could ever need for your pets and its lovely to take the kids to have a look at all the animals

A vast amount of food for all your pet's, whether its a rat a dog, a cat or rabbits or fish they have it there. Not just food but all those extras your pets need scratching posts fish tanks l, cages for all. Plenty of employees there to lend a hand for friendly advice.
