Homebase - Godalming

Great if you need a plumbing bit on a sunday at twice the normal price

Nice shop, lots of choice and less busy than other stores

You can get just about anything in this store. Lots of parking. Walking distance to Sainsbury and godalming high street.

It's always a good experience going to this store. On my last visit I found the staff very helpful. They always are, but I felt they made an extra effort on this occasion. I think it is James on the Information Desk who should be particularly congratulated for his kind and helpful response to our various enquiries.

It's a home base. Pricey DIY stuff. But entirely as expected.

Excellent really helpful. My future mother-in-law. Wanted a new trimmer for garden. She wasn't sure. If they're sell spare blades for it. As well. Staff member help her and she was happy.

Extremely well organised. I came here at 11am on 5th June. They had someone to greet you at the door and answer any questions. They had plenty of hand gel and towels to use as you entered and at the exits. There were plenty of staff at the tills who were also keeping an eye on the queues. The lovely woman who served me was getting a hard time from a very rude and disgruntled customer, who was trying to exchange something without a receipt. The customer was being extremely rude but the till operator kept her cool and resolved the problem. Whoever that person was, she should get a medal for a masterclass in customer service. I was so impressed with this branch that when I needed another tin of paint, I made the journey back from Farnham, instead of going back to my local store. The management and the staff here deserve a big pat on the back for setting such a good example of how covid safety shopping can work and for excellent level of customer service. Great effort. Keep it up!

Beware of parking as I got a fine. Most expensive fall iv ever had. I do understand that it's only for customers which I was. Disable aswell. Was very upset. But paid it. Just beware

Usually has what I need to go in there for. Good end of season sales aswell. Not really spoken to the staff(I always have headphones blasting),I will presume they are nice,but yet again they do have to put up with people all day,so kudos for that. Has everything a homebase should have,that's why five stars,free parking...I think(I cycle)

I like to go in and stare at the cactus's,nowhere else sells them,so it's always a bonus,that and I don't have a garden,but if I did I'd shop here for my bits

Categorically the most helpful and friendly staff I've ever encountered at any homebase outlet -- two guys went to extraordinary lengths to both check stock and help load a sofa bed into our car! Two thumbs up

Love our local store good ranges good prices plenty of offers on most of the time so pleased it's not on the list of closures. Standard continues to improve well worth a visit for anything for the home

Excellent help from Callum. I needed some end of range tiles that were shown in stock but couldn't be found. Callum searched the warehouse and phoned me back within the hour having found them.

Well they were bloody smashing. I went into Farnham. They didn't have any of the paint I needed in stock. They went out of their way to find stock in Godalming who even remembered the call next morning. So big thanks

I have found the staff at the Godalming store to be very helpful and friendly and if you cannot find the item your looking for the staff will happily guide you to the right place
