Halfords - Bicester

Having ordered my bike online, it was built and ready for collection a week earlier. Receiving timely notifications, the customer service received was exceptional. Sales assistant Jake provided friendly and excellent bike care advice and service. He also offered the a good Halfords maintenance bike care option and a further discount on the cost of the bike.
The advice and help given enabled me to purchase a high spec bicycle lock, and will go back for the bicycle maintenance package at a later date.

5 star for two reasons: great equipment and purchase. But more importantly, amazing service from Jake and Tom at the bike area. I didn't go to Halfords looking for great service, but these two guys just set the bar quite high for my future visits to Halfords.
Have I spent more than planned. Yes. But happy I have.

Went into the Bicester store today to get a replacement battery fitted and came away with a good deal on my next MOT AND a money save on the battery fitting, all of which came from Ian. He was incredibly helpful, really nice chap and very knowledgeable. The fitting of the battery was courtesy of Julian, very thorough, very patient, didn't mind me sticking my nose in when he was fitting the battery 😁 and just a really friendly guy. The whole experience was easy as anything and I am delighted with, well everything. Thanks Ian and thanks Julian!

I Have just taken my grandson bike in for a repair and I have to say that the staff that dealt with me were very helpful professional and knowledgeable I could not get a better service anywhere like I had by that member of staff and I thank you for that

Excellent service this morning by Halfords. They sold he 3 windscreen wipers and fitted them very expertly and quickly. Can't fault them at all

Bought an Apollo Phaze Bike for my son for Christmas from the Aylesbury branch but it developed a squeak at the rear wheel. Aylesbury branch had no appointments so went to Bicester. Tyler was extremely helpful and fixed the problem, bike collected this evening and son is very happy and he can use it to ride to and from school next week. Big thanks to Tyler again, very much appreciated.

Ordered some racking online and went in to collect. I spoke to a guy called Ian who was really polite and helpful. Ian shot off to fetch my items and whilst waiting I asked for some advice from Charlie regarding air con gassing. Charlie was very helpful and advised on the different options.
Ian brought my items from the warehouse and despite me expressing I was happy to load myself, insisted he would take the items to the car and load for me.
A fantastic experience received today by two knowledgeable, polite and courtesy staff.

Took my bike in today I was assisted very quickly and my bike was soon safe to ride again great service

Great service from both Steve and Tyler. Went in to get my light bulb changed, and I left not only with two new lightbulbs fitted by Steve, but also a full free 13 point car check, tires inflated and water and tread checked by Tyler for free.

Even got me a discount on the bulbs.

Staff super kind. Short waiting time and reasonable covid measures taken and put in place.

I picked up my new bicycle today and the service I received from the store in Bicester was beyond amazing! I arrived in the store only 30 minutes before it closes but I was still warmly welcomed. Damon was so friendly and professional, he helped me with setting up my bike and choosing the appropriate accessories for it. I’m really impressed and thankful for the great service!
