A big Thankyou to the lady working on the till on the 14th, my grandmother who is elderly and half blind was at the till packing her bags and due to her lack of visibility and strength struggles to shop due to anxiety about public spaces, a very rude customer decided to say to my grandmother “you do know, you’re holding up the que” now bare in mind my grandmother is in her 80’s and is usually assisted, my grandmother was shaken up by this comment and the kind till person stepped in and reassured my grandmother by telling her “don’t you worry love, you take your time, there is no rush at all” I want to say a big Thankyou because this level of customer service alone was right, to the person who proceeded to antagonise with further comments, I hope when you get to her age, you’ll understand. I loved it. Though it's not that big bit I had a wonderful shopping experience, coupled with the fact that most of their groceries were very cheap.

Another shop I find good for specific things. The vegie burgers (No Meat brand) are the best I've tasted. Their own brand pizza is good, very good for the price. Just discovered their Space Raiders potato pieces; pickled onion are excellent the beef one I didn't really notice the flavour much.

Iceland also have a good range of general items other that frozen. If you shop in store then they will deliver if you don't more than £25, the minimum for order an online delivery very is £35.

Staff and customer service beyond hyperbole. Absolute dream team working at Iceland Basingstoke, particular credit to Craig who is always helpful.

Staff is the best part of this shop. They work so hard and mostly they are understaffed. But they always great customers with the smile and provide exceptionally fast service.

Lovely large store in a good location in town to stock up on some great frozen food, plus other bargains around the store whilst browsing, nice staff too.
