Very nice people. We went in looking for an umbrella and the lady who owns the place went above and beyond and located one for us. Thank you!

This is an appalling store. We went with a UPS parcel and the store was closed. Since we had come about 6 miles for the return, we drove around for a while and finally returned. My wife went in with the parcel and the man was extremely rude. He ordered her to stand aside as the school kids were to be served first (even though they were not yet in the queue) . He continued berating her, saying it was the wrong time for parcel returns - even though the sticker outside says UPS returns before 3.30 pm (which we were). She said "How rude" under her breath but he clearly heard as he then thrust the parcel back at my 73 year old wife and refused to take it. She came out with the parcel in a state of shock. Why UPS still use this store with such an ignorant man in charge is beyond me. Do not use this appalling store.

Supposed (according to UPS website) to offer a UPS pack and send service (for Amazon returns). However when I turned up the woman serving was most unhelpful and said they didn't do that. She tossed a bag at me and said I could use that (but it didn't fit) so then suggested I return home (5 miles away) with my box and sellotape it up. "Haven't you got any?" I asked. "Yes, you can buy a roll over there". In the end I had to go to Whitehill Convenience Store in Crowborough where the chap behind the counter couldn't have been more pleasant.. I shan't be going back to Maresfield Village Store again.

I echo the negative experience of other reviews. Despite having signed for the receipt of an the item the proprietor refused to acknowledge possession of a parcel that had been dropped off at his store by UPS. It took three days and repeated attempts to persuade him to release the item.
Unhelpful, untrustworthy and totally incompetent.

Extremely rude - refused to accept my UPS parcel simply because I dared to ask why he wasn't going to scan the barcode!? Scribbled numbers on a piece of paper doesn't give much confidence - sorry!

Popped in to try and drop off a UPS parcel, was greeted with a very rude reception. Informed they don't scan phones and that it would have to be a printed label, perhaps this information would be helpful on the Google map information?

Changed me for 2 lucky dips when I only wanted 1 wondered why it came to £11… and £5 minimum card spend in the shop. Was only passing through

Not unusual I suppose but min spend with card £5. So with only £2.20 in coins/ cash I couldn’t buy a £2.50 newspaper. My fault but disappointed.

Very rude people every time I visited this place, either to pick up a parcel, or when trying to drop a UPS parcel. I tried to contact UPS, but they are not interested to know.
