Dungeness Fish Hut

Wow!!! So so good. Almost all of us had the flatbread option. Really so so tasty.

You can not find fish and chip fresher than that! Simple but nice!
They also sell fresh fish, crabs, lobster, etc.
Plenty of seat and parking.

The fish hut in Dungeness was recommended to us by the owner of the holiday home we we’re staying in. Let’s just say we are so glad she recommended it!! The food is was absolutely delicious, so fresh & tasty. What an amazing little place, an absolute must if you’re visiting Dungeness. We ate some great food while we were on holiday & this was probably the best! Amazing.

Fantastic - came across this on bank holiday Monday and stopped for some food - I had the fish and potatoes and it was some little fresh place fillets cooked on the griddle a long with a mound of potatoes - delicious. My wife had the scallop wrap which was also excellent.

Dungeness Fish Hut knows what it’s doing. Top quality, local, ultra fresh seafood, cooked very well and sensitively, the food here is as delicious as Dungeness is stunning.

There will very likely be a queue, but it is definitely worth it. Prices are decent and portions are big. I would arrive early in the day as lobster and crab sell out, due to being so popular! Side note, they seem to be on top of their allergies too.

Location is exposed, but super stunning, so wrap up warm and be ready to hold onto your food on windy days!

There’s also a fishmonger, so you can buy brilliantly fresh fish to enjoy and cook at home.

Only small minus is there are no toilet facilities, but as that’s not the function of this place, has no bearing on review!

This pop up style fish and chips cafe is amazing. They take the local catch and serve it on small roasties or in a bap. Three fillets of plaice or dab last week. Lovely flavour. It can be windy on site!

Wow! I head a lot of good things about the Fish Hut and I was not disappointed. Fantastic fish, good price, and a lovely outdoor seating experience. I’d definitely come back !

As someone that has never liked the taste of fish, I can confidently say that this place is phenomenal! After eating my mums entire lunch - the catch of the day with the flatbread and salad, I am now a fish convert! The calamari was equally fantastic.

Always a great friendly environment, ok waiting times and a really good beach vibe, this is the best place to be around the area.

They sell a large range of seafood as fresh as can be, great crushed potatoes and generally great accompaniments.

Lots of seating and parking too which is a bonus!

Called in on Wednesday this week, bought a piece of skate....Best skate I've ever had....had it tonight sautèd in butter until 'beurre noisette' and finished it with fresh sliced garlic, chopped parsley, and freshly grated and squeezed lemon juice, sea salt and ground black pepper and served it with fresh asparagus....absolutely gorgeous, congratulations on the quality of your produce...we will definitely be back ...thank you

Fabulous place. Friendly staff and a delicious menu. I had the Mexican flatbread which was divine. Can't recommend enough.

This is a little gem on Dungeness Beach, freshly cooked fish in rolls or with fllatbread, salad and slaw, absolutely delicious

Excellent, fresh and local food in a great setting. Beyond the fresh catch and friendly service they have thoughtful little gourmet touches like the way there's salt baked into the tops of their bread rolls. It's food for the eyes and the heart, and just the stomach.

The staff are amazing and the food is exquisite. It's fresh and made to order... meaning you may have a long wait but definitely worth it. The food is displayed beautifully with abundant outdoor seating, or takeaway. I recommend their pecan cake too!
You have the opportunity to buy raw fresh fish straight from their boats.

Excellent food, great quality and generous portion sizes. Despite a large number of people, the wait time wasn't too long.

What’s different place to visit. Great for kids collection shells and pebbles. I love the strange landscape and I’ve taken some great photos there

Absolutely delicious lobster flatbread with slaw and avo - set with the beautiful bleak backdrop of the nuclear power station!
