Alresford Run Club

An absolute gem of a club! Ross who runs this club is the most supportive and encouraging person I know! It took me a year to pluck up the courage to go and when I did there was no turning back! Running tips along the way. The most beautiful routes that I didn’t even know existed! Can’t recommend this club and Ross enough!

Alresford run club is such a great group. I’m not someone who enjoys running especially and I’m new to running, although I’m relatively fit. What’s great about this group is that everyone is so encouraging and supportive. The faster runners just do loops back so they can keep their speed up and yet we still feel like we’re running as a group. Can’t recommend highly enough! And Ross who runs the group is super supportive, really kind and generally an awesome guy!

Recently joined the club and it’s been fantastic. Lovely people, no pressure to be a super athlete, it’s all about running to a level that makes you feel great physically and mentally, with the facility to push harder if you’re feeling it.. Ross is a great human too.

A fantastic and friendly run club with a lovely group of runners of all abilities. Ross (the organiser) is really supportive and encouraging. Highly recommended.

The Run Club is friendly and inclusive. If you can be there on a Thursday evening you’ll be welcome. Ross makes sure everyone is safe and happy - and mixes up road and trail routes.

Love our run club. However much you might feel you don’t want to run on a Wednesday evening, you always come away so pleased you did! Friendly, non-competitive and inclusive…
