You know McColls are more expensive than supermarkets but to a point, you could say your paying for the convenience of having a convenience shop near you!
So why have I have 5 stars if they are expensive ? Simply because of the staff who work there. I go often but don't know their names but all of them are great and very helpful, smiley and pleasant towards customers, like local shops used to be.

Convenience store with a good choice of items. Coffee machine and hot food items available. Ample parking outside. Friendly staff and I've never had to queue very long.

It's a really happy store with great customer service from the staff.
Nicky was really helpful last week when I couldn't find the items I was after.
It's a good team in there.

Get the fresh baguettes trust me

Their prices are high but if you need something and can’t get elsewhere it’s really convenient. Iv had bad service there but I haven’t seen the two staff members for a while.
Reason I wanted to write this review is cause when I went in yesterday for some bits and pieces I had a runny nose but didn’t have anything on me to sort it out. The lady (can’t remember her name - sorry!) on the till, without me asking, offered me a tissue to blow my nose. I was really taken back and a bit lost for words. Left feeling really impresses - top marks to her for customer service! If yesterday was my only visit this would be a 5 star review.
I can’t give more stars than I have because I have experienced some really poor service there and the parking situation is a bit of a trap - be VERY careful where you park as the company who runs the car park are absolute weapons and the signage isn’t exactly obvious. Check your parked where your meant to cause if you don’t you will get a fine!

What can you say about Martin mcColls? This place is one of the most overpriced convenience stores ever, the staff are friendly, polite and helpful but I would definitely give this place a miss if you can. General everyday products are at least a pound overpriced, avoid avoid avoid is my advice people.

Very convince to have a store next door, its always tidy and well faced up but I've been served by staff member who was drinking while serving, to the point that she was scanning my goods with one hand and drinking brew with another, I felt ignored and to be fair that's really poor customer service skills.

Great local shop however the owners of the shop need to sort out the company in charge of the car park ASAP as it's becoming a private PCN scam.

Paid £1.7 for a yoghurt, and £60 for parking. Cheers
