John guided us very smoothly through the process of choosing a stove and hearth . It took a while for our woodburner to arrive but was so worth the wait . We went in thinking we knew what we wanted, but John Ripley kindly listened to us and then tactfully guided us in another direction. We were more than happy with this having listened to his seemingly boundless knowledge on the topic of wood burning stoves.
We came away with a bunch of ideas, brochures and a plan for taking things to the next stage. Such excellent service.

Excellent company. John visited our home and was very helpful in our choice of stove for the room it was to be installed in. He also advised us about a register plate for our inglenook fireplace. The two installers were polite, helpful and did a very good job. They left us after giving full instructions as to its use, checked it’s operation and left everything tidy, no mess at all. The stove works well and all in all we are very satisfied. I would like to thank them all for their helpfulness and courtesy throughout.

We just had our 2 wood stoves fitted. A great family based business, we received great advice and the final fitting was executed by Michael, who did a tidy job and showed us around the appliances. I'd recommend this company to anyone looking to have fireplaces restored and new stoves fitted.

We recently had a woodburner installed by John and his team, and cannot recommend them highly enough. They were very friendly and helpful with fireplace advice and which woodburner to choose for our needs, and Mike and Charlie (the installers) were a pleasure to deal with on installation day. They were very knowledgeable, tidy and efficient, as well as explaining the operating and safety advice for the new woodburner. All in all, they are a fantastic family-run business which should be supported.

Excellent customer service and friendly team. We chose the Arada woodburner, it looks fantastic and really throws out some heat. The installers were really friendly and did a great job and very tidy. Steve did a lovely job on the hearth and the living room looks like a proper room again. Our dog Woody has a new favourite place now. We just need to find an old piece of oak for the mantlepiece and it's all finished.
We are so pleased with the work woodburner and would definitely recommend Ripleys and the Arada woodburner.

Most helpful staff ... looking fwd. To receiving advice on a fireplace !

We have just had our new wood burning stove installed by Ripley. They have been outstanding at every stage of the process. We didn't know what sort of stove to buy but John really does know everything there is to know about fire places and what works. We have a Grade 2 listed Sussex Hall house and he was able to tell us the history over the 400 years of the different bits of our fireplaces. Then they managed to fit us in early. The boys Mark and Mike today were incredible - i could not be more happy - hugely profeesional, polite and what a great job. Thank you so much.

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Explained difference between multi burning stoves and wood burning and how efficient wood are over multi if only burning wood. Nice range of stock.

Essential shop for any solid fuel appliance needs. Carries anything from the most up to date woodstoves to antique victorian ranges, plus standard fireplaces & all that goes with them. Really helpful with expert advice. Highly recommended.
