The Works

On the 13th I arrived in the Shrewsbury store, looking for paints to paint stones. A man unable to get name showed me where the acrylic paints were and then advised I would need a varnish to waterproof them. None were on the shop floor, even though he was very busy stacking shelves he went out of the way to show me paints and go searching for a varnish. This was all done with a lovely conversation about painting stones, lovely PROFFESIONAL man. Only wish I had hid name. Also when got to till the lady was very friendly and healthy. Lovely people lovely store

Small busy shop in Shrewsbury on High St.,books half price, selling art supplies, jigsaws, maps, great mooch around,but busy times can be cramped.2 Staff were very busy getting items out of boxes on shop floor and serving.

A shop with cheap and useful stuff - I have no complaints

Only downside is shop can be tight in busy periods.

Plenty of great bargains to be had here. Has a wide selection of books and many great gift ideas and novelty items as well as art supplies. Only frustration is how cramped the store can become during busy times.

You know you will find something in here to make you part with your money....whether its books, puzzles, games or arts and craft materials. Many items carry big discounts too.
