Wickes Shrewsbury

Attended B&Q in shrewsbury,treated abominable. Husband a week off having heart attack, no help and accused of being abusive to staff. Left and went to wickes. Staff friendly and extremely helpful. Wicked from now on. Quality and cheaper.Thank you

Got great help from a busy assistant, fabulous customer service.

Better stocked store than the Telford branch. If you live equidistant from both choose the Shrewsbury store.
Store is well laid out with plenty of choice.

Excellent range of building materials, friendly staff, reasonable/free delivery costs, good prices. They also handle issues well, good customer service, the customer is right!

Fantastic customer service in Wickes, Shrewsbury. The lady that served us saved us from making a huge mistake, it had not occurred to us that when buying tiles you needed to check their batch number. We almost bought tiles from different batches which would have been a slightly different colour, the lady had noticed this at the checkout and explained to us the difference.
She also informed us that we could get free delivery, thank you very much to Wickes and their staff!

Upon arriving I was greeted with a cheery hello.

When I was in the paint department I was unsure which gloss was the best to use as there were so many to choose from. Upon going to the desk to ask the lady for advice she got a member of staff to help me (I'm not sure if he was the manager or supervisor) he took his time in giving me very good advice and I did not feel rushed in making a decision.

Very happy with the service and would recommend.

Just had a new bathroom designed by Colin at Shrewsbury and installed by Gareth, First Class from start to finish, really pleased. Had to wait, but well worth it. Highly recommended.

Thank you Simon for all your help, we had so many problems trying to order shower tray etc from Telford store. Simon ordered it straight away, thanks again.

Store well laid out shop assistant very good

The shop has not many staff but the few that you can find to ask a question are always very polite and friendly, good offers in different products too.

Big store for all your building and gardening needs staff were helpful and friendly and very knowledgable about the products they sell reasonable prices on most products if you need anything to do with building or gardening they more than likely stock it from cement to lightbulbs from garden plants to work boots worth a visit

I did a click & collect at the Shrewsbury store and the lady that served me couldn't have been more helpful.
I've had some bad experiences in the past with terrible customer service at Wickes', but hopefully that's in the past and all the staff are now as good.

I like Wickes because it's a straightforward, down to earth DIY store. Indeed, it has more of a feel of a builder's merchants , than a DIY store.

But if you know what you are looking , it's to get to. Wickes seems to have stayed loyal to its roots and kept it's format unchanged over the years . A good idea in my book.

Although materials prices have risen a lot in recent years. Wickes' prices have managed to stay contemporary when compared to many of their main competitors.

Wickes has always been a contender when I'm looking for building materials and remains so.

Great value for basic materials and diy projects. Always friendly staff, and the trade card gives 10% off everything, every day. 👍

Great prices and customer service excellent. No problems too great for them to solve. Would recomnend home delivery. Good aftercare.

Sensational store with epic trolleys you pull not push. I like to get there as it opens just to feel sorry for the staff. The till workers are always up for a giggle. Go early or late, just not during the day..the traffic is horrendous with people heading to Morrisons for doughnuts. Get your tools boys then grab some cheese twists and Doritos for the kids on the way home. That chocolate doughnut? It's got my name on it! I love it..the lack of lighting and heat really gives it ambience.
