Vine & Bine

Popped in just before Christmas to buy wine for my brother and sister in law as a present

(End result was they were very pleased)

Decent selection of wine, good individual advice, good place to find interesting wine, especially a present for someone.

Very helpful, friendly knowledgeable staff. All of the wine we have purchased has been lovely. We did wine tasting on Friday Anthing but Chardonnay and had a fabulous time trying some lovely wine.

Great range of wines, beers ( some from local breweries) and spirits. I wanted a bottle of red and the choice was a little overwhelming. The man from the counter asked about my preferences including my price range and gave me a smaller choice explaining which was fruitier, heavier or tangy-ier etc. He was polite, helpful and knowledgeable. I bought two and loved them both. I will be back.

I have been to my first ever wine and chocolate tasting at Vine & Bine tonight. Very tasty wine and rich chocolates. Great value for money and the hosts had a lot of information on the wines and how they are created and how the chocolates and how all were paired. Myself and my partner would thoroughly recommend.

Friendly, approachable and knowledgeable staff.
Atmosphere is welcoming and the store has a wide selection of products not found in others.
As a rum lover, I'll be shopping here more often. 😁

Great shop with a wide range of wines from around the world at a wide range of prices. Very knowledgeable staff who provide great recommendations. Not had a bad bottle from here and there spirits / beer selections are awesome too. If you want nice things and don't want the same main stream rubbish then this is your place!

Great service & selection, but you can get that at most places like this.
I return here because, not knowing about port, they volunteered a better vintage bottle for the same money as is picked out. Upon hearing the feedback from my dad about this year and how happy he was to revive it I wouldn't go anywhere else. Many thanks.

Did a wine tasting here was brilliant really enjoyed it. Mark really knows his wine and is really passionate about finding the right wine for everyone's taste.

I will definitely be coming here again. Alas we can no longer get my husband favourite wine (they no longer export to England) so I searched wine shops near me and connollys came up.

Connollys were able to to find 3 very reasonably priced alternatives based on my phone call and the reviews of the original wine alone. Hubby was over the moon! Made for a cracking birthday for him. See you for Christmas shopping :)

Would 100% recommend. They know their wines and are friendly, very knowledgeable, helpful and good value for money on excellent wines.

Love this place. Great selection of wines, beers/ales & spirits. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They also carry out various tasting events above the shop (wines, gins, whisky's beers etc) although you need to book as it's not a large room and space is a premium.

Really friendly and knowledgeable staff make all the difference at Connolly's. Massive range of wines, spirits and beers from all over the U.K and rest of the world. Perfect for presents. They also hold regular evening events such as cheese and wine etc. Particularly good gin selection.

Fantastic staff and a great range of booze. The wine/cheese tasting was a real insight.

Great friendly service. Will leave you alone until you need them. If they had decent Whiskey my spend would increase!

I do like this shop, I can find my preferred Belgium beers (Orval, Chimay, etc), Champagne and french wines (Bourgogne).
Staff is nice, welcoming and gives Good advices

Great local merchant with very knowledgeable staff. Good selection, especially of craft ales. Premium pricing but you are paying for the expertise and range so understandable.
