Holland & Barrett - Farnborough

We were at this shop yesterday. Even though it was managed only by one colleague (Tyler) and he had a trolley full of stock to merchandise, he didn’t hesitate to answer our questions.

The shop is very well merchandised. The price tickets were placed in military precision.

You get a wide range of products and if you aren’t sure on what to choose, the staff are very knowledgeable.

Sells a good range of vitamins and other healthy additives. Obviously more expensive than on the web, but you know what you’re buying here. 5 stars because the tattooed girl who seems to run the place is a credit to good customer service. Always happy, polite and willing to help. [Feb 2018 visit]

A lovely store with lovely people. I'd not been in the Aldershot Holland & Barrett store before, but got such a warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of friendly helpful advice. Prices were good too. A large bag of Soya Chunks will make great stews, curries, and 'meat' pies for months to come, and at a tiny fraction of the price of meat (as well as being more healthy and animal welfare friendly).

To prepare Soya meat, the trick is to coat it in warm fat before adding the liquids. Fat = Flavour. (Beef dripping is best.) Then rehydrate in your gravy. As you'll guess, I'm not a Veggie.

I was just in this shop and the person who works there walked behind me all the time, observing my every move. I asked her as a joke if she is observing whether I would steal and she said yes! and continued walking behind me. I stopped shopping at that point and paid. I also told her I am not a thief and it is not acceptable for her to behave like a police officer. She said sorry, but I don't think she is. I am definitely not going back to this shop and I will follow up with the manager. Spoiled my whole impression of this chain. Shame.

I was accused for shop lifting today. My intire bag was searched. Did not even get an apology. Will take my buisness elsewhere then.
