I love this store. Parking is a doddle. Staff are always friendly, polite & courteous. Always good quality produce and a pleasure shopping here. Highly recommended

Absolutely top quality food here.
In no way could I call this my ‘regular shop store’ but it’s totally dependable for a special occasion.
Newark on Trent staff are so polite, friendly and helpful.

I was really pleased with the service from Chloe B. I asked for help for recommendations for what food to buy for my valentine dine for two. She recommended the beef lasagne and it was absolutely exquisite. I can’t thank Chloe enough for her excellent knowledge with the food that I purchased, also I nearly forgot my bottle of booze but Chloe was by my side to save the day, this has made my valentine’s Day extra special.

♥ mmmmm! Waitose! The home of do many nice things, and most of them you can eat 😋. Always good quality, always (well nearly) nice and helpful staff and now some pretty competitive prices.
I do rue the demise of their cake counter though. 🤔

We did some pre-Christmas shopping today as well as our usual weekly things and were wished 'Happy Christmas' by the cashier! We had a lovely light lunch in the cafe before shopping - vegan sausages in a roll with chips (husband) and salad (me)!

Fantastic staff and shopping experience

Love this place and it's ethos. Quality is unrivalled. The lady who served me on the checkout, went out of her way to help me and my elderly Aunt. Amazing staff in the cafe this evening too, so friendly and cheery. Overall, tonight in particular, the service was outstanding and it was a very pleasant shopping experience.

After a long absence I returned to Waitrose albeit a 40 mile round trip to my nearest. Good quality food etc with very pleasant and supportive staff. Wish they were nearer ad they would be my first place to shop. Entrance to car park not the best as you have to manoeuvre around a tight vend next to the filling station.

Brilliant shop with great quality British food and good prices - excellent selection of fresh meats, bakery products etc, like Tesco and M&S.

Today I bought a Christmas tree for my mum and an assistant kindly lifted it and transferred it to my car. Very friendly helpful attitude always at this store.

I shopped today at till approx 2pm. The cashier asked if she could pack my bags. She saw I was struggling a bit. I explained my partner of 56yrs passed away end of Jan. Waitrose was his favourite shop but until today I hadn't been to the store. I paid unknown to me she had asked her supervisor to arrange a bunch of flowers for me. I was amazed n so pleased. It was a welcome back n also message to say they do think of their customers wellbeing. Thank you so much. Unfortunately I don't know the cashier's name.

I have 20 years experience of working in retail and, with that experience in mind, cannot fault Waitrose.
Waitrose have an excellent product range at competitive prices which is supported by fantastic staff. I'm never rushed at check out and I am always met by a very cheerful, polite and professional partner, whether that be at the check out or on the shop floor.
Stress free shopping at it's very best.

Waitrose is the best supermarket in Newark. You pay a little more but the quality is fantastic. I can always get a parking space and don't have to fish round for a pound coin to put in the trolley as they are free. The fresh flowers last better than most other shops as does the fresh fruit and vegetables. There's sometimes too much choice but that's what I like about it, there's something for everybody. The Home delivery service is always good too. I can't recommend the store enough. Well done Waitrose 👏

What a pleasure to be back in Waitrose and I wasn't disappointed.
The selection of goods was first class, as was the customer care.
Having completed our shopping my 5 year old daughter was given a box of cakes by one of the partners, for her excellent scanning skills (self scan) and it really made her day.
Its experiences like this that make Waitrose a place that customers want to return to.
