I can only agree with all the past comments. I noticed they had a Beatles related book signed by the author. I was curious and rang and spoke with two really nice helpful people who took time out to explain their connections. The book packaging was amazing, just like a gift! Like others said we should support independent stores such as Coles.

Picked Coles randomly after an on-line search for a book I wanted, wow - lucky me! Great service, great product and the packaging / presentation was so good I didn't want to open it. I had no idea where they were located when I ordered on line but now see they are on my occasional commute so will be sure to call in. 6 stars!

I came across Coles Books online whilst searching for a signed copy of something I was after as a gift. I'd not heard of them before but I will certainly be back again to place further orders. Excellent selection of products, and when I called to check on my order (my error as I got my email address wrong!), the person I spoke to was extremely helpful and courteous.
Also, the delivery was fast and the books I ordered were expertly packaged and very secure to avoid any damage. Keep up the great work team!

Beautiful collection of books, both the floors were well kept. The staff were kind and helpful. Nice collection of posters and vinyl music too.

If you are buying online, good choice… beautifully packaged and presented items packed by an actual person who labels them by hand. However, also worth travelling for: If you’re buying in store, even better as it’s all curated in a careful and creative way.

The shop is inspiring and has a lovely range of unusual cards, gifts and niche items and knowledgeable staff. Added bonus is that they stock the right editions for a level students so no messing around. Love it!

The staff member who managed the signing and sending of multiple books with different launch dates, all during peak festival season is my personal champion! Many thanks to Coles for enriching my life too.

Ordered 2 books from here they both came double boxed with care and love I will be returning as waterstones and whsmith don't ship them like this ! 5 stars excellent service cheers !

I am a real book worm and it is a great place to go and absorb the books and the atmosphere, they have books of all genre and if you cannot find what you want they will order for you, which I have done and got them next day. If you look books as much as I do then this is the place for you, go see for your self, it is something special for everyone.

A good-quality bookshop is truly the measure of a place, and thankfully Bicester is very well-serviced here thanks to Coles. Plenty of new and classic releases on the shelves, and staff are friendly and helpful when ordering stuff in.

Used Coles for the first time to buy a signed book. I needed to defer delivery and so had to call to arrange.

The lady I spoke to could not have been more helpful and then when the book arrived.......... the most delightful packaging ever - packed superbly with care and attention to detail. I wish I'd followed the trend for filming unboxing as it felt like a very special event - brilliant.

Absolutely outstanding service. I'd been trying to find a book for my wife. I had emailed several book stores and the publisher, but Coles were the only people to get back to me. Fantastic service from Coles Books! Not only did they have my book in stock, but it was a signed edition and cheaper than other suppliers. It also arrived beautifully packed and in perfect condition. Superb!

I used to bring my children to Coles Books and always knew they’d be able to give good advice. Now I have grandchildren and one (age 7) is going through a “I don’t like reading or books and don’t want to be convinced” phase. At first look she was “no, nothing I’m interested in” in the age appropriate section but she wanted a bedtime bunnies picture book. I agreed to get that (because she’s rabbit mad, and I didn’t want to push her and put her off even more) but I said what if we asked the book expert if she has any recommendations, and sure enough the lovely lady at the front desk came back to the shelves and looked through with great care, asking Jess what she was interested in. She recommended a book, and I persuaded Jess to give it a try. She loved it, has read it twice, is dressing up as the main character for Book Day and today we went back and bought four more books in the series! Thank you Cole’s for helping my granddaughter love books.

I ordered a signed book online and while the shipping was prompt, an empty FedEx envelope was delivered. On inspection, it looked as if the envelope had been cut open and the book had been stolen or fallen out. I sent a email to Cole’s unsure if I had any recourse in this situation. I received a warm response from Carmen in less than 24hrs and was told they had already shipped another copy (FedEx notification followed shortly after). Truly a top notch customer experience with what is obviously a high quality shop. I will do as much of my online shopping as possible with Cole’s going forward!

Wonderful experience! I ordered from the USA and the item arrived so quickly! I had a great interaction both before and after purchase with the store, who provided me all information on the item, items condition and shipping cost and timing.

I am so impressed with the level of care taken to protect my beautiful new book! The packaging was impeccable and I actually felt bad opening it all up - it was shipped like a gift order :)
