I had never visited Milestones before in spite of living in the vicinity . It was a truly memorable visit . I went with my daughter and her family to the Christmas Fair . What a spectacle we were totally immersed in the entire experience, and the "Blue Stockings" and their gorgeous harmonies took me right back to a bygone era. Well worth it in all rspects!

Waterstones looked so beautiful today that I couldn't help but fall inside.
Really helpful and friendly staff, as ever, especially when my friend asked why he couldn't find Brazil in the European section of the travel guides (doh). Always a pleasure visiting ✨📚

A cozy bookshop in the mall with a nice Nero coffee shop upstairs where I always find a seat. A nice place to browse or buy books, and have a break from shopping!

A lovely little cafe. Even though understaffed that day they still provided excellent service.

This Waterstones is very well-stocked, with plenty of space for everyone to browse. Love it

A large store with a particularly big children's section. Staff are friendly and store is clean and well laid out.

As you would expect a great range of books and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable.

Caffè Nero are upstairs so you can look at some books while enjoying a hot drink or snack.

Staff are happy to help and I've not had any issues with collecting books that have been ordered online.
It's also great that it has a cafe on the 1st floor but it does get busy especially on the weekends.

Waterstones Basingstoke - Customer Service at its heart.

We ordered on the website and headed in to collect a few books. We met a nice lady whom struggled to find one of the items in all the piles of christmas orders.

As she couldn't find the book after searching she offered to drop it out to our home (a 40min round trip), which was far over and above the call of duty.

Thankfully it was found shortly after.

A regular visit. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable.

This is a small branch, but it has a decent selection. Anything they don't have in stock can be ordered in very quickly. My nephews had no problem spending the book vouchers. Staff are very friendly and enthusiastic.

Great new look to Waterstones, Basingstoke and Nero cafe on second floor. Light wood throughout gives a much brighter, modern look environment. New sections created for easy access to books. Cafe seating area upstairs has been expanded, with the use of comfy chairs and sofas. Very comfortable place to read and have coffee.

Found lovely books for my daughter about how women changed the world. I'd have never known about them if I hadn't browsed a physical book shop. Nicely laid out with friendly staff.
