This outfit doesn't answer its phone, nor does it respond to emails, but is happy to take money for subscriptions it doesn't send.

A lovely gift was bought for me of 1 year of socks a month from this scamming organisation. I received just one pair (which was sent to my address when the buyer asked for it not to be) then nothing else - in 7 months!!!

The details for the people responsible for the theft of people's money are there for all to see on the companies house website and although they originate in Leicester, the "office" is in Stratford upon Avon.

A visit to the office will be in order when next I'm in the area, for a refund, plus any incurred expenses.

Really disappointing, loved the socks but only got 2/12 in subscription. Got another pair after i chased but they then stopped again. 11 months later and no reply.

Bought my dad a sock subscription for Christmas. The first pair of socks he received were nothing special, the second arrived late and the packaging was in terrible condition and he has not received anything since. I have attempted to contact the seller on numerous occasions and they do not respond to emails or answer the phone. Scammers!

Paid for a 6 month subscription and only received two pairs of socks! Absolute scam, do not use them, how do they get away with it! Email and phone numbers don't work either, so no way to get in touch and ask for a refund... :( If I could give no stars I would!

Brought a year subscription as a gift for my dad and very disappointed that only one pair had arrived for January.

I did email them at the beginning of March asking about February's order and never got a response. And now another pair hasn't arrived for March. Checked my bank statements and the payments are going through, so now I'm wondering why I'm paying for something that's not even coming. Un-subscripted and cancelled all further transactions!

Rubbish company, signed up for a 6 month subscription in December only received two pairs and no explanation for the delay. Now their emails are being returned undeliverable. 'Not on the high street' need to take them off their website.

DO NOT BUY FROM this awful business!!!! I brought a six month subscription as a Christmas present, from the point I ordered it took 6 weeks for the subscription to come in the post, that was the last I’ve heard, I messaged numerous times on ‘not on the high street’ no response, Ive emailed not on the high street directly for them to say they’re having a lot of issues with this company!! Not sure why they still have them on the site if that’s the case!! I’ve emailed directly to the Henry j socks website, still no response! I’m currently going through not on the high street for a refund!! Terrible should be shut down!!

Ordered a 6 month subscription as a Christmas gift. Two pairs have been recieved but nothing since January. Absolutely no way to contact them. A scam!

My daughter bought a sock subscription for a Christmas present but I only got 2 pairs of socks! Went to their office as I live near - still got their tiny unit but all locked up, no answer and couldn't connect phone calls.
Waste of money - don't go near!!

Wish i had read the reviews first... HJS Took our money, yet unable to fulfil the sock subscription. The registered company phone number is not working, they don't respond to any emails. Do not purchase from them.

Do not buy from this company.
They NEVER respond to emails, answer the phone or respond to correspondence - they are a SCAM.
A year subscription bought- no socks ever arrived. Absolute fraudsters.

Do not touch this company with a barge pole. Paid for a years subscription and only received 1 pair. Have contacted numerous time and telephoned but no response. Have now contacted Citizens Advice and my bank and have now been offered legal support to retrieve my money. An absolute disgrace and crooks.

I bought from them through 'Not on the High Street'. As in other reviews, I had a year's subscription and only received one pair of socks. 'Not on the High Street' are aware that the company has issues, so why on earth are they still using them?!

Purchased a subscription - I have not received socks and the company are ignoring all contact.
I suspect this company is no longer trading, but is still widely advertised as trading etc.

I used Henry J during lockdown for a 1 year subscription and they were great, delivery on time each month. I've ordered again this year, paid two months worth and haven't received any orders

As per others - paid for a subscription and received 1 pair of socks only.
Promises that the next would arrive yet nothing.
Requested a refund and they have gone silent.

As other reviews have stated, basically, the subscription service is a scam. Received a pair and supposedly a 6month subscription (1 pair a month) as a gift. Never received anything after the initial pair.

Socks subscription service with a difference. You pay, they never deliver. In fact they don't respond either so it's a double whammy of just being a terrible business.
