Martins in Southway is a very good shop, you buy things from frozen lollies to newspapers to sweets, they also sell different types of cards eg: birthday, get better soon, & Sympathy cards.

It's a ok shop but expect for cards crisps and sweets milk and toilet rolls it dont really sell a lot

Very poor customer service. Had to collect an urgent parcel which had not scanned correctly so I did not have a barcode. These ecp codes fail often but previously with Martins I would still be able to sign for a parcel.
I did however have tracking information and identification with me and offered to sign for the parcel. However the rude and argumentative customer assistant 'Ross' (after insulting me by asking why I said the parcel was urgent, despite it being there for 4 days) flat refused to allow me to sign for the parcel. I ended up having to call Morrisons customer services where I spoke to an area manager. He instructed Ross to hand over the parcel. An argument then ensued about who was right and wrong.
And Ross, quite bitter at being ordered to give me the parcel by his superior. Told me I would never be allowed to go into the store again or have parcels delivered there. Suddenly it seems, he went from having no authority to hand over a parcel, to being granted supreme executive power. Albeit one who should not be in a customer facing role.
I keenly await my ban notice from Morrisons, and remain absolutely shocked and disgusted.

Walked a mile to post 2 small parcels. They refused to take them as the bag is full. Total jobsworths.
