Co-op Food - Plymouth - Embankment Road

Since they renovated the place is more enjoyable and easier to buy and go. The place looks bigger and is more space in between the shelves. You don't have to wait in queues as they have self check out which are the best thing ever. they open very early 7 am which is very good when I have to go for work and I need something and thy close at 10 pm. Plus there is a post office in there and I don't have to go in the city anymore to send letters.

I mean who doesn't know co-op?! You need to be from a different planet or to live outside the UK. Anyways my honest opinion about the shop is as it follows:

Good quality products.
Prices not too great compared to other shops.
Polite staff members.
And their own products sometimes beat the bigger names quality and taste wise.

Embankment road Co op is amazing stock of food choice of coffee tea.. Can buy decent food. Staff are friendly.

I live locally and this is the most convenient place for me to pop in as it saves getting caught up in the main traffic locations around the city. Being a Co-op it's not the cheapest or the biggest but it has had a overhaul a couple months ago to improve the layout and open till late in the evening which has come in handy many a time. Friendly staff and a good range of stuff, I'll always find enough range to do a weekly shop if not made it to Asda or Tesco

Amazing service and staff very community oriented. Manager can't do enough for everyone. Post office included and a wire selection of stock.

Good place to shop for essentials. Prices are not too bad for a local shop. Service is very good and staff are very friendly. Highly recommend five stars

I shop at my two local stores and the one on Exeter street in Plymouth. I use the Exeter street store because of the post office as well.

Freshly baked bread in the morning, clean and theres a post office inside the shop 😀
