Asda Spennymoor Superstore

Medium sized superstore with cheap fuel. Parking for disabled people for 18 cars at the front of the stop. Customer toilets too. They have a pharmacy that can dispense prescription in addition to imthe shop floor medications etc. In store bakery for bread, buns and cakes. Hot counter selling chicken, design your own pizza in store too. They stock the latest books and games. But no longer sell mobile phones

Great, helpful and friendly staff. Well laid out supermarket. Always good deals on products every time I stop by to get a few things. Excellent pharmacy. The pharmacy staff are also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this branch of Asda.

It is a very small store but is very well stocked. Yes you cannot get everything but if you want a wider variety go to a bigger store. We do our weekly shop here and never feel we have ot got everything we want. Their choice of Non Alcoholic Wines, Beers and Spirits is excellent. Car Park could be arranged a little better, but all in all a smashing store for its size.

Have recently returned to Asda from Tesco when Asda implemented Scan and Go self serve shopping. Much better prices here. This is the smaller of the 2 stores I use but its had a refurb in autumn 2019. Better access around the shelves brighter cleaner look. Some reduction in product lines especially fruit and veg. All the basics are available and I can get all the stuff I used to get at Tesco. I can't comment on queues as I miss those out. Staff have always been helpful. The car park is big enough but layout is a bit tricky, you need to watch out for pedestrians. Petrol station cheap but often very busy.

On 16th Dec 21 I had an asthma attack at Spennymoor store. A member of staff called Alex was so kind obtained a drink stayed with me. She refrigerated my shopping for my husband to collect as I left the store. I would just like to express my gratitude and say that Alex is an asset to the Spennymoor store and throughout the asda group. Thank you!

Why do asda stop stocking what are obviously a popular items. For weeks I have been looking for Rose's lime cordial but for some reason it's gone and someone has forgotten to order it. I'm sure this isn't the only thing that's gone missing over the past month. Are there other products that customers have missed?

I find that shopping in Asda is a pleasant experience with spacious aisles which is great for me and my wheelchair. The staff are pleasant and helpful and always fill my bags for me. Recommended its a Whopping

Well organized super store. Wide choice of food and drink. Fresh pizzas available on request. Big car park well suited to all customers.

Cracking Asda. Smaller store but huge range. Friendly,helpful staff. Just had major refurbishment (july2019). Clothing,electronics,gaming, groceries, alcohol,pet products,petrol station,click and collect. Really prefer this store over some of the bigger Asda stores nearby. Actually drive half hour to this one as opposed to 10 mins to the nearer,larger one.

Usual stuff it's a supermarket but no longer super prices go up and down more than a yoyo and staff on checkouts are none existing at times

Biggest store in Spennymoor. Everything is available. Not good variety of clothes though. Self service available.

Fairly priced supermarket. From all the well known brands to aĺ the store branded ones. A lovely selection of clothes
