Broughton Village Bakery

Lovely local bakery. We stopped for coffee and a snack. All of which were absolutely lovely. Definitely recommend a visit here.

Best pies I've ever had. My father in law Alastair will always bring them down south for me when they come to visit us near Brighton. Just enjoyed a massive meat and potato and half a steak pie with some mash and gravy! 😊❤🥧

Brilliant little bakers, I bought a Steak and Ale pie which was full to the brim of steak and gravy really good pastry case too. But the highlight was the Cinnamon and Raisin bun.... Best I've had! My only regret was not buying the whole tray 🤤

Fab bakery. Get there early for the freshest bread 😊. A great range of cakes and savory pies etc. Super portions at fab prices.

There is a cafe serving good coffee and sandwiches plus all the bakery items...only open til 2pm so don't be late😂

Brilliant little bakery came from askam the other day affordable as well love the buns from there you can't be homemade ones & their bread/buns are amazing as well as the cakes. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing, friendly staff & it is also easy to phone in the morning to place a order to pick up which is really helpful as they do sell out really quick of things some days if busy.

Really great place. It feels like the type of old school bakery the modern world is lacking.

Set in a gem of a village with other honest traditional shops doing well in keeping its timeless character well worth the stop when passing nearby.

I absolutely loved the coconut cake! Had it warm with vanilla ice cream when got home. Can't remember exact name of the cake but really want to make it at home as I'm not local to buy again

What an amazing bakery and cafe, simple food and settings, but the food is exceptional. From the porridge that my son absolutely loved, to the man sized pasties that are to big for most men! The coffee suited my simple tastes in coffee and the cafe setting is rustic, simple and clean. The staff were attentive and friendly. We walked out of there with bags of pasties and pastries. Simply put, it is no wonder they were one of the top 20 UK bakeries. It is well hidden up a one way street in Broughton, well worth hunting it down.

We visited twice whilst staying nearby. Absolutely fantastic food and cafe area in the back. It seemed to be popular with locals and the cakes were delicious!
