We visited to look at laptops. We were approached by a member of staff, Adam M, he took his time to explain the different laptops and their capabilities and usages.

He went out of his way to help us, and was a pleasure to talk to. With his help we selected a laptop, and are really happy with it.

I will definitely shop here again, and hopefully have Adam M's help in future.

Brilliant service for a young man, understanding and help from several staff to choose a mobile, Samsung A14. Being able to access a working model really helped.
Liam was astounding, patient and supportive over collection and his calm helpful manner reassured a very anxious young man.
This young man is now very happy with his purchase and decisions.

We came close to closing but still met with great staff keen to help. The advisor helped my partner albeit not his area. Great service and we bought . Plus myself fantastic advice and help given

Have visited twice recently and both times dealt with Ellie at checkout. Ellie goes above and beyond with her customer service, far more than you’d expect these days! She has been both helpful, friendly and welcoming on both visits. We also recently dealt with Ashley on the help desk who helped us with a baby monitor not working. Ashley was also very friendly and helpful and I hope together with their managers both see this review and enjoy the praise they’re both due!

What a fantastic service from start to finish we placed the order on line speaking with a real person (Wonderful these days) I could not praise him enough. Text came through to my collection was ready, we proceeded to Shrewsbury Currys and was greeted by a LOVELY 🥰 Lady with a beautiful smile her personality and sense of humour was an Energy Boost.

Very helpful assistant who talked me through a new contract. Was only in store 15 minutes and happy with my purchase. Also advised if I had any problems to return to the store.

James was very helpful, got my cooker sorted and delivery booked, with installation and recycling my old cooker with no trouble at all. Brilliant service.

Needed technical support with new chrome book . Tom dealt with problems professionally with patience and friendliness. He went above and beyond and whatever he is being paid is not enough!! Thanks again Tom

Absolutely amazing customer service from Sophie. Amazingly knowledgeable and willing to help. Sophie was extremely patient when we had to look at multiple items that we needed (keyboards, documents printers and photo printers) and was very helpful!
We will make sure we go back to this branch for any future purchases!

We purchased a dishwasher and washing machine. Thankfully it was quick and easy to do. Ross was extremely helpful during the process. We only had to wait a few days for delivery. Very efficient service from Currys

It must have been a couple weeks since I was last at currys. But the past couple of times I was there I had an amazing experience. The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful when I was deciding on a phone; If I'm remembering correctly Liam (if I got his name wrong, he's the taller one with black glasses and hazelnuty hair) and Served me the first time and although I didn't buy the phone there and then he was still very helpful and informative. I went back a few days later and I was greeted by Cameron (if i got the name wrong, he's the one with the long ginger beard :) ) and he was equally as lovely, by this time I decided what to buy and the purchase went by extremely efficiently and he was also very very lovely. Liam was also still there, but busy with other things but he made sure to come by and say hi and see what kind of phone I decided on. So a really nice personal touch and excellent customer service all around! So thank you liam, and cameron, I'll be sure to return next time I break my phone again lol.

Fantastic customer service from Liam and David who had a nightmare trying to sort out our new contracts with a new build! They didn't give up until they got it sorted and didn't worry about time devoted in doing so. A good deal achieved too saving money! Thank you both, much appreciated. Would come back

Went to get advice and buy a laptop and printer. Was served by James. Who I cannot thank enough for being both helpful and patient. When I'd eventually decided which ones to buy, poor lad had to come back and tell me both were out of stock! He gave me the details and I'm going on line to order and check when they're both in stock!

Returned four week old laptop as stopped working. Not happy. Had to be sent away for repair. Slow service in store as specilest staff who deal with this were busy with another customer. Will update when the laptop gets returned
Now fixed, software problem with sound drivers. Mocrosoft problem apparently.

Picked up a free standing oven for my son. Good price And the staff including the manager loaded it into the car for us.

Very good, we knew what we wanted before we went in. The chap serving knew his stuff and was very polite and amenable. Would definitely buy from there again.

Curry's PC World reviews are literally the most inaccurate reviews I've ever seen on this platform so I feel like I have to write one that's actually related to the store itself and not about something unrelated:

The customer service is always great, and you can get access to a reasonable amount of options when it comes to choosing what you want to buy. The staff are able look up any publicly known information about most of the products they sell so don't be scared to ask questions.

However I need to mention that Curry's PC World do NOT manufacture any of the computer related products they sell like laptops, printers and desktop computers. it's genuinely VERY cruel to place poor reviews based on things they cannot control.

I really need to explain that Staff WILL point out to you that the cheapest laptop in the store is half the product than the one that's just £100 more, right next to it. It's literally YOUR fault if you ignore them.

The amount of "1* I didn't even go here" reviews this place has is actively crippled the average ratings of this place too. it's seriously very messed up to do this. If you didn't go inside the store don't write a review, it's not that hard. I don't care if Google asks you to write a review about a store you only walked past, they only ask you to do it ONCE and they never ask again until you return to the stores area.

Trust me, when it comes to reviews on Maps, sort by "most liked" or "most helpful" and not by most recent, it will save a lot of headaches.

This place is sound. The reviews are not so much.
