Sandersons Boutique Store

Had a wonderful time shopping here and it's fantastic that I can take my dog with me.
Accessible store too, which is harder to come by in Stroud. In some higher-end stores, as a wheelchair user, I have found that assumptions have been made that I won't buy anything etc, or I'm treated as a nuisance/obstacle. Some can also be a little snobby in general. I had the complete opposite experience here; I actually felt bad about just how attentive and helpful staff were and there was absolutely no judgement or feeling that the staff didn't wish to be there - I didn't even have to ask for any help, being approached by a lady who helped. There was also a young lady with a real talent for matching items together, which helped me with my purchase. I've never had a shopping experience like it before; fetching me different items and telling me they would sort out the things I was leaving behind in the changing rooms despite my multiple offers to put them back on hangers etc. I'm not sure why more stores of this type don't take note as I certainly left spending more than I'd intended when I entered. I didn't either get the impression that they just wanted to sell me things (although that's of course a part of the job!) as genuine care was taken and the friendliness wasn't forced. Look forward to returning.

Luxurious department store sat in the renovated Five Valleys Shopping Centre in Stroud. Beautifully spacious and merchandised with some very helpful individuals to aid and assist where required.

It has an Italian café at the rear of the store for those in need of a pick-me-up.

Lots of premium brands to browse with a great offering. Yes, this does mean that I can be perceived as expensive, but you get what you pay for with quality goods.

Great shop nice cafe got myself a great coat .very nice staff. Up market.

The young lady who works at Holland Cooper, the blond lady who was working with Jean the day I went there with my Pomeranian! That lady is great with excellent customer service skills !
I was looking for a Holland Cooper winter coat to take to NY next month and she went beyond my expectations to find me my size since I am very petite.
I am over the moon with the Arctic collection coat she picked for me, it is very warm and it also has an extra down jacket that can be worn separately. Great price as she did inform me that there was a discount on the item so I ended up paying only £400 or so for it. Its initial price was over £600 so it was great!
I did ask her for her name as I wanted to leave a review. Unfortunately I lost the card with her name on it. Sorry !

Outstanding service, you get what you pay for. It's nice to have a place to splash out a little when you want to but not have to travel to Cheltenham or London. They can also order in store. The makeup section isn't very inspiring, but the fragrance, clothes and the bar are 👌

Great staff, great store, great asset to Stroud. Always received fantastic customer service from here, staff really are exceptional. Just a shame, as in most retail, that they aren't looked after or remunerated enough. Basic pay and no sick pay. Not good. Look after staff and value them and they will pay you back tenfold. Just disappointing as I have met the owner and developer and thought more of him.

I came across this quaint department store during a work visit and I have to applaud the customer service. It isn't too pushy on selling and you are left to browse.

It is in a nice boutique shopping arcade with some local independent shops as well as a nice market with a variety of cuisine.

Recommended if you are in Stroud.

A beautiful new store with really interesting products. Top brands presented beautifully, with more unusual product you can't get in other department stores.

The team were really helpful and so passionate about what they do. The lady on fragrance was especially interesting and told us all about the sourcing of the unusual fragrances from all over the world.

We ate in the new Italian restaurant located inside Sandersons. The food lived up to expectation, cooked to order and very fresh. Would recommend and intend to go back again

I would like to say how friendly and welcoming all the staff are in the Stroud store.
