Nice roomy store, no squeezing between aisles. I quickly found what I went in for and also found a few things that I didn't go in for too :)

It's a fairly large store spread over two floors. It's well stocked and currently looking very pretty with all the Xmas decs on display. Some special offers on home lighting at the moment, or at least there was last Thursday!
Staff are helpful and friendly and the store has social distancing and masks in place. Plenty of parking available in front of the store.

Quick and easy to shop. Went in for a specific fan heater, it was on display, purchased without issue, no queue.

Recently the staff have also gone above and beyond to help us source some discontinued laminate flooring, which has allowed us to complete some unfinished DIY. We're very grateful, thank you.

I had gone to homebase to get some ideas for flooring for my lounge dining room hallway and stairs and landing though I couldn't see the carpet and tiles up close because of covid the salesman was helpful and managed to show me some samples at a distance...and because of the service I received I have arranged to go back again to order my flooring.

Ordered & paid for items online, used click and collect option.

Arrived at store shortly before closing time, goods ready for collection & store had no other customers (great for me as it felt a covid safe environment) also plenty of parking!

We love our local Homebase. We have tiled our new bathroom walls & floor, painted walls & wallpapered our new loft rooms using good quality clearance items so kept the cost cheap. Staff are super friendly too.

Bought grow bags, potting grit and a half price fleece jumper. Garden plants all looked healthy and in good condition, also some good pots.

Staff were attentive but not required, I found what I needed easily and checkout was a breeze as well.

After some rubbish service at two other large chain decorating stores, I tried Homebase. The staff were extremely helpful, made sure I found what I was looking for, mixed the paint colour I wanted right away, and even went to get me a trolley when I realised I'd picked up more than I could carry. Great service!
