During our stay at a nearby farmhouse, we made it a daily ritual to visit this charming bakery, and it never failed to impress. The tranquil ambiance and rustic charm made it the perfect spot to start our mornings.
I especially enjoyed their smashed avocados on sourdough, complemented perfectly by a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and cherry tomatoes with crumbled feta cheese.
Following this savory delight, we treated ourselves to a heavenly cinnamon bun paired with a cup of coffee, as well as a divine pasta de nata.
But what truly made our experience memorable was the warmth and friendliness of the wait staff. They were attentive, accommodating, and always had a smile on their faces. Another highlight was the fact that it's a dog-friendly establishment.

Our favourite local bakery. A good selection of cakes and baked goods, with a counter that’s always well stocked. Inside there is a fair amount of seating, though at peak times you may struggle to get a table. In summer, the outdoor area by the side of the bakery is a great little sun trap. They also have items like milk and coffee beans to purchase. More recently, they’ve starting stocking natural dog chews, which are popular with our two.

Lovely little find. Went in before a visit to the dentist.
Food was fresh and hot. Cakes looked very inviting and delicious. But didn't have time to indulge. Service was prompt and pleasant.
Definitely worth a visit.

Very popular small Bakery Cafe.
I had the best ever Almond croissant and an excellent Americano coffee.
I was tempted by the generous portion of Bread Pudding.
Prices are not cheap but are good value for the quality.
I noticed the huge sack of Shipton Mill flour - an excellent sign that everything is made on site - I think.
They have different flours from Shipton Mill and bags of the coffee they use presumably for sale.

I’ve bought a few things from here now.
The Biscoff and Chocolate cookie were amazing! Very tasty and soft.
The pain aux raisin, honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. I had to stop my partner and get him to taste it! It was fresh, soft, it was great! 😅 ❤
We also bought a country sourdough for sandwiches and it was again very tasty, the crust wasn’t tough, the inside was soft! And very flavoursome.
Lastly, the coffee is also really nice too 🙂 the atmosphere of the cafe, the staff are so nice and friendly.
Crumbs is perfect, I moved from Hertford and we didn’t have a cafe like this, moving to Watton and having crumbs here is amazing x

A generous slice of the most moist carrot cake. Hot chocolate was pretty standard, not that it made claims to be exceptional. Friendly staff and of course a good sign that locals were using the place and all on first name terms. The atmosphere was cosy, well lit and subtle music playing. It's a bakery so it was unsurprisingly warm. A good selection of tasty treats. Recommended.

Stopped here for some coffee and pastries. Coffee was lovely as were the pastries. While queuing someone had some sandwiches made, and they didn't hold back on the filling! Haven't seen a place be that generous for a while. It was good to see. Oh and also bought a loaf of bread which was also lovely.

Lovely homely feel about the shop. In fairness first time I've been there certainly will not be the last. The selection of different breads is terrific and a great choice of fillings. Great value for money. Well worth visiting.

Some of the best bread, croissants and cakes I’ve tasted. I just wish it was closer to us or offered delivery!

One of those rarest of bakeries that actually bake their own bread. The soughdough is especially luxurious. Both seeded and wholemeal. The soughdough ferments for 26 hours for a moist yet airy bread. Those in the know invariably preorder their loaf since there's always an enthusiastic queue ... and you really don't want to miss out!

What a wonderful experience we had today, staff were kind and food was excellent, will have to go back to try something else. Sausage roll was to die for and spoiled myself with a milkshake, see you soon.

Although not a lot of seating available the food and drinks were really really great. All the food items looked really yummy. It was a friendly cafe/bakery and we would def pop in again if we were in the area
