B&Q St.Austell

Diy store selling pretty much everything you need for your home and garden at reasonable prices. This store is very tidy with products freely available on shelves. Staff are warm and friendly offering help and assistance where needed.

Great deals and bargains. A lot to see and great prices on so many items. Parking the car was easy, walking in and looking around was a joy with so much to see it's hard to know where to start. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful and that's why I give B&Q St Austell five stars.

Ideal for the D IY enthusiast and the professional got most things to decorate and maintain houses

Great having B&Q almost on our doorstep. We are doing up our house, so their great range of products enables me to just pop in every time a need arises.

Had everything needed. Swift service. Almost guaranteed stock all the time. Not worth going from store to store .... just need Bradford.

I must congratulate you I am a regular customer of your store in St Austell you could say I’ve spent thousands in your store over the past 3 years new kitchen and bathrooms it’s my go to place for a thing I need by the way DIY paints etc .
And I can honestly say shopping at your store is a pleasure made only possible by the quality and high standards of your staff .
They really are a credit it to your company and I applaud you for keeping your standards high .
Our world has changed so much and unfortunately not in a good way ,there’s so many businesses that have fell by the way side because they took there eye off the ball they cut corners employed people who weren’t interested or knew very little about the products they were selling .
That’s what in my opinion puts B&Q head and shoulders above the rest .
The minute you enter the store your greeted with a smile and a willing friendly assistant nothing is to much trouble .
And there knowledge about the products you sell are amazing there’s not one member of staff who can’t direct you or take you to the item your looking for I applaud you .
Now, although I’ve already described my experience in your store on the 27th of April I must tell you your customer service was taken to another level I
Had purchased a kitchen from you and I needed to replace a couple of doors so off I go folder in hand full of drawings and various lists of what I’d purchased 3 years ago
I don’t mind telling you I was dreading trying to explain which replacement doors I required ,
I’ve had a difficult few months due to my husband having a stroke and is now permanently in a nursing home .
But my fears were soon taken away because the young lady on the kitchen and bathroom design called Trinity instantly picked up that I was a little unsure she was amazing she made me feel totally at ease and we sat together and I told her which doors I’d like to replace but I had so much paperwork and to be honest none of it made much sense to me !
She took all my paper work and within minutes she had worked out the sizes I needed and even bought a picture up on her screen of the kitchen I’d bought and she was so kind talking me through the sizes I needed then she took a trolly and bought 7 doors back of exactly the correct sizes I needed .
I’ve always enjoyed shopping at B&Q because I know your staff want to help they want a happy customer they want to sell your products .
But I’ll never forget how the young lady who greeted me with a smile ( When frankly I was feeling a bit tearful due to the recent stroke of my husband)
Trinity is an empath she was marvellous she even walked me to my car and loaded the doors into the boot for me 👏👏.
I sincerely hope Trinity gets the recognition she deserves and also fast tracked to management /Supervisory position .

Store is large and has everything I need. There is a big variety of items in sale and all are very useful. There is also a nice garden centre with wonderful plants. Usually I don't go to warehouse-like stores but this is a very nice store that not many other companies come close to. Very nice, would 100% recommend this.

Great. I ordered some laminate flooring it was ready to collect. An extra thank you to the kind member of staff who helped me put it in my car. I didn't get his name but he recently broke his wrist. Very friendly and helpful.

After visiting other stores we found what we were looking for here. Our paint choice was expertly mixed and we left the store happy 😄

I want to say a huge thank you to Phil for going beyond, kindness, to help me out in delivering, with no fuss. I’m recently home from hospital.

For a small site it has most things needed for at home DIY projects. Staff on the paint counter are very helpful (especially the young lady who has brightly coloured hair and piercings!) and there's a good customer service team who are great at helping to get items ordered in to store, or finding items on the website that aren't stocked in store.

Great store. Mark helped us with a double glazed door and helped fit a lock as the original one had been lost from the packaging. 5 star service. The external UPVC door is brilliant. Thank you so much for helping us Mark

CV aware ,hand and trolley sanitation station on arrival, politely greeted and bought everything I needed in a no stress orderly fashion 🙂

Always friendly and helpful, the staff once again excelled helping us to find everything on our list. Would definitely recommend for all your diy needs.

I love this place, definitely not my favourite but it's a good place to get ideas. Once sorted shop around for cheaper deals. Normally Screwfix (same company) Tool station, Bradfords.

We went into the St Austell branch, the bathroom department, and were served by Sonny. He sorted out everything we needed apart from one cabinet that the branch didn't stock. He asked us to come back the following day to put in an order which would probably take about a month to arrive. However the next day when we went in to order it Sonny had ring round all the Cornish stores and managed to find one which he had delivered to St Austell that morning so we could take it home with us that afternoon. Such a helpful man, friendly, and a great asset to B & Q.

Great store friendly staff got exactly what I needed. Definitely coming back.
