Dacombes Of Wimborne

Second purchase this year from them. This time last year in November my washing machine broke. Ordered from Curry’s as I always did. From payment… took 6 weeks to arrive! In January we needed a dishwasher. We spoke to them, Paid and picked it up in a few days. And again this week. Dryer broke on Sunday, we spoke to them yesterday, dryer ordered, paid and home with us today (Tuesday)
We will always go here for all appliances from now on. Brilliant service, nice guys. Totally recommend.

I had been researching washing machines after my present one died. On finding one that I liked, I looked locally on line and Dacombes happened to have one in stock. I spoke to the lovely Julie who couldn’t have been more cheerful and helpful. Within two hours of me making my phone call, the machine was delivered to my address............certainly couldn’t fault that service and the two lads doing the delivery were also very cheerful and friendly...........thank you so much and I will definitely recommend and use you again in the future. The attention in detail about my requirements were answered very thoroughly and professionally by both Chris and Mark. The delivery and installation, which was by no means easy, was executed by Alesh who spent a long time answering many questions and describing the new set-up.I did a lot of research before going to Dacombes and they were head and shoulders above anyone else in price, delivery and installation. I recommend Dacombes in Wimborne ! It is a place where they sale many big or small appliances, Televisions and a kitchen showroom even a Home cinema! Most importantly I found friendly but professional people working and helping with a warm smile to every single customers!

Refurbishing our kitchen we needed to replace our cooker, so my Wife & I went to several electrical appliance retailers to do our research. Like all modern appliances it’s never easy finding exactly what you want, in what is a minefield of technology and differences in features one appliance has over another.
But our visit to Dacombes made the choice so much easier. Both Julie and Paul offered their knowledge and expertise giving genuine impartial advice on the various Brands they sell, and it wasn't a 'Hard' sell either. Unfortunately when the cooker arrived there was a problem with the cabinet/fascia. A call to Dacombes explaining the issue was acted upon quickly, efficiently and with no discourse. An engineer came out tried to remedy the fault but it was decided to have the cooker replaced. Again Dacombes took charge of the situation by dealing directly on our behalf with the Manufacturer 'Stoves'. All was sorted within a matter of a couple of weeks. Due to Covid & manufacturing issues. But we were still able to use the damaged cooker in the interim.
The service level demonstrated to us by Dacombes was exceptional in this day of nonchalant attitudes and hollow promises.
I dread to think what kind of service we would have received from one of the major national retailers had we bought the cooker from them and had the same problem?

Having only recently moved into the Wimborne area, we did not know of Dacombes until a friend recommended them to us. Thank goodness they did as the customer service given to us by Chris is outstanding. After putting our tv above the fireplace, taking such care and resetting all the channels plus advising us how to get the best out of the TV which certainly took a lot of patience! A couple of weeks later we had a calamity which affected the tv and again, even though this was nothing to do with Dacombes, Chris immediately solved the issues for us. You may get your tvs etc cheaper at Currys, but customer service after purchase (in our experience) is nil. We now appreciate the importance of this and it cant be underestimated! Well done Chris, you deserve our loyalty!

We have had fantastic service today from the delivery part of dacombes they fitted are built-in larder fridge today. They did a fantastic job. We always go to dacombes for any electrical goods we need. The staff do an amazing job helping you find the product you are looking for.
