Great home bargains and friendly helpful staff, which helped me find a few things, but the new one over the road we are currently working on will be much bigger and better when completed!

Great store, massive and a very good selection of products. It has a nice bakery stands, also a cafe. Staff are very friendly and professional.
Car park has a 3 hour limit for those who wish to know.

Must say a great big thank you to Emmie who helped me out with my trolly last night - she gave me a £1 coin out of her own pocket and told me to keep it. I didn't keep the £1 coin, but gave it to her supervisor and told him how this had made my day. Well done on employing amazing staff.

The staff helped me find all the things I needed and asked if there was anything else I needed help with. When going to the tills the woman serving was polite and made sure I found everything ok. Staff were friendly and lovely to talk to.

Huuuuge shop but dont forget the pound for the trolley!! Brill selection and a lot of items i havent seen elsewhere

I love to shop at the Durham Home Bargains store, its always so clean and the shelves are full. Staff are always very happy. I spoke to the lovely manager called sue today, just to say how fab her store is. I just hope she is going into the new shop when it opens She obviously does a fantastic job. Looking forward to the new store opening.

It's the new mega size store which basically houses everything you could need. Well priced and plenty of parking

Great selection of products at reasonable prices.

Very good prices for household cleaners and other products for inside and outside the home. Food, drink , confectionery, crisps and limited fresh items.Their selection of seasonal items are excellent, the Halloween and Christmas especially. I've purchased lights for half the price of other stores. I recently bought a Scholl electronic nail care system for £9.99 and was pleasantly surprised to see the same item in a large supermarket store for £40. The beauty and hygiene section have well known brands at very good prices. The toy selection is very good, also stationery and childrens crafts. Definitly a shop to have a browse around. Friendly helpful staff. I have also ordered goods on their website and had them delivered to the store for collection.

Again bought more than I intended

Home bargains always a housewives favourite. Today we visited for numerous items but the main reason for our visit was a special offer on cola. A very helpful staff member called Sharon had kept us 16 bottles until we could visit store. She helped us load 2 trollies and nothing was too much trouble. She is such an asset to this store. So friendly and nothing too much trouble. A great big thank u Sharon for your help. It was very much appreciated.

Always good value items for the home and garden. They don't stock rare items but for everyday items they have a good range of products. Tinned and sauces/spices are very cheap. Kitchenware equally cheap and decent quality.

Great shop, items vary by the day, good selection of beers & wines. Now stocking bread, eggs, some veg.
Many household lines too. Friendly staff and long opening hours.
