Friends Valley Home Stay

We stayed here for two days, and it was a really enjoyable experience. It was a serene and tranquil setting. The homestay includes 3 spacious bedrooms that may hold a party of 6 to 8 people. There is a kitchen with a gas supply and all other tools where we may prepare our own food. We had the impression that we were at home. This location has the extra benefit of being close to the grocery store, tea shop, and motel.

In general, I would suggest this location to bikers, groups of friends, and families looking for a comfortable and tranquil stay during their holiday.

I booked this beautiful property on airbnb for a one night stay and it turned out to be a memorable experience. The host Jorley and his friend prakash helped us a lot right from the beginning like giving us the directions to reach their place, suggesting a itinerary for two days , arranged us food, campfire and also they offered to take us to their cardamom plantation and fish pond. They allow to do fishing there and the fish that we catch is charged 100. We can cook that on our own If we want. Their house is a typical Kerala style house which I really like a lot. There is a huge space in the front of the house for parking and inside there are three rooms ( two with attached bathrooms ) , one common bathroom, kitchen with all utensils, washing machine etc. We can cook ourselves if we want or else they can arrange food from outside too . There is beautiful view point near the place and they can give the directions for that. We can view the Idukki dam catchment area from there. The road to this house is a little bumpy and sloppy. The host showed great hospitality. Definitely recommending this place for travelers of all types. Suitable for families too.

As the name "Friends Valley Homestay" depicts, they were more supportive.
1 - All the arrangements were done before we arrive and it was kept ready.
2 - Spacious Room and living space. They were well maintained.
3 - Bathrooms were clean and tidy.
4 - Camp fire and Fishing were awesome.
On the whole, it was an amazing experience and worth to stay.
I need to mention special and Sincere thanks to Prakash and Jorly.

It feel's like our home.... and we can use the Kitchen as we like.. and grocery shops also walkable distance, even tea shops and restaurants also nearby..., I ll recommended for group of families or group of friends

A good home stay near Kattapana... 3 rooms, hall, 3 bathrooms, kitchen are available with a homely feeling... 10-15 members can stay at a time... Decent approach from owners... Safe surroundings... There are minimal utensils for cooking.. if u tell owners before they'll make camp fire and barbeque..

Most attracting is the morning walk to a view point near this home stay.. don't miss that view.. Aravind - one of owners accompanied to that view point...one of best view of nature ! See pics below..
