Had a great experience staying here. Staffs are good , we stayed in pool cottage , the plantation walk bonfire were great. Chef took personalised orders for food . We enjoyed the whole stay . Would recommend this place

Amazing resort for a stay in Kerala. The staff is so friendly and kind. They have daily events in the evening and help you plan excursions as well. We spent Christmas there and the staff went out of their way to help us feel included. Thank you!

Amazing plantation themed resort for who want to live closer to nature. Has an old world charm. Friendly staff and well maintenance rooms.

Came back from the resort after a 3 night stay. The staffs were courteous, helpful and hospitable.
The main attraction of this resort is the 55 acres of land and the ambience one gets to enjoy, not to mention the serene climate.

The food was very good but repeatative. The only thing they could do well is introduce temperature controlled pools (especially the private one).

The off road trip and the magnificient view at the end of it is something to look out for.

Overall, people looking to enjoy some peaceful time will surely have a great time here.

I had a very frustrating experience with the bookings team at this resort, particularly Mr Mathew. He acted in a completely unprofessional and unpleasant manner. However, upon arrival at the resort, I discovered that Mr.Mathew is a third-party service provider from Cochin who takes reservations for Carmelia. I require that management sign off on all dealings with him because he is exceedingly unprofessional.

In terms of the resort, I believe that rather than staying, the vibe and people within make this a truly lovely destination. Sooraj, the property manager, is exceedingly friendly and helpful, and he ensures that we have a nice time. Chef Sanil's cuisine is without a doubt the greatest I've experienced in Kerala. The buffet is diverse, vibrant, and world-class. The service crew was quite courteous. Planters Villa, Jacuzzi Villa, and Treehouse are the three types of accommodations on the site. I stayed in a treehouse, which I found to be pretty basic, but the planter's home is extremely vast, gorgeous, and light.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay in Carmelia.
One piece of advice is to avoid Mathew and instead try to contact Sooraj.

We stayed almost 9 days , it was like a homely treat by the staff, whole staff is very kind hearted and smiley faces, and the food was excellent, and special thanks to Mr suraj, he took us all adventurus places, Overall it's a beautiful location, kind staff and excellent food

Located within a 55 acre cardamom plantation, this property is a romantic destination. I was here with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. I booked a Jacuzzi villa. On arrival I realised that the Jacuzzi isn't heated and the room is separated from the rest of the campus using high walls blocking the beautiful view. I therefore degraded my room to another one which was really amazing with a nice balcony facing the plantation and the pool. It was a big room, nice wooden furnitures, open bathrooms. The entire team was so welcoming, always ready to serve with a smile. The food was yum. The manager Mr. Suraj is an exceptionally nice gentleman and took care of us both so well. When I requested him to change my Jacuzzi room, he offered me an upgrade to the tree house but I decided to do a downgrade just for the view of the room. He took us around the property and explained everything so well. The planatation is so beautiful, calm and puts you in another world. It was so calming to be there. We also took a full body massage and it was by expert professional therapists and the massage was so relaxing and effective. The entire team came witj a cake to celebrate our anniversary, clicked few pictures and they went to extend of getting a custom printed mug with our pics for us when we checked out. Amazing and must visit property if you want to just relax and calm yourself down.

Quite out of the way but highly recommended for an all inclusive experience. Staff were extremely helpful for all requests and very friendly. Some facilities need a bit of maintenance but doesn't take away from the ambiance/atmosphere.

It's a memory haven which gifts you with such beautiful memories of an amazing backdrop in the hills, lip smacking food overseen by Chef Sanal, a truly adventurous jeep trek which takes you atop one of the highest points which surely is an amazing roller coaster ride. We were super happy with the cottage villas/ planters villa getting up to call of the cuckoos and sleeping to the lullaby of the nightingales....simply amazing& a must visit

All the staff members are very humble and takes very good care of each and everything. Needs Wi-Fi connection in rooms and continuous hot water flow.

A beautiful resort in the middle of tea and cardamom plantation. Love the food + the rooms. One of the must do things is doing a guided walk around the plantation that surrounds Carmeilia Haven. Trust me you won't regret it.

We (family of 3 adults and 1 toddler) stayed in the Jacuzzi villa during the Chritsmas weekend for 2 nights. From the reservation process through check-out, we had a great experience. Thanks for Mr. Rojes, Mr. Saneesh, Mr. Ratheesh, Mr. Unnikrishnan, Ms. Aarsha, Head Chef (sorry I missed his name), restaurant staff and rest of the staff in the property, for making our stay a memorable one. The approach road to the resort is in good condition and the entire resort is in a beautiful location, far away from the traffic and very peaceful. Room was well maintained, jacuzzi (small sized pool) was clean, and the food was great. During Christmas eve, they arranged cultural programs (their staff members also participated and made it merrier), presented a lovely cake (prepared with cardamom flavor) for us, and had campfire. We enjoyed the plantation walk (unique experience walking among cardamom plans that are taller than you), tour of the treehouse, jeep trip to Kailasapara, got to see Vezhambal (Malabar Grey Hornbill) in their property and other birds too, and the wonderful food (we had all courses - breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant). Service staff members were extremely accommodative to our needs.

As a suggestion, it would be great if you could have (1) heater option in the room (since the room was very cold at night) and (2) heated pool (since the water was cold throughout the day), though our kid really enjoyed it.
