The experience were so good here. The rooms were clean. The owner was very good hearted person and treated us so well. The beach view was amazing A Tranquil Oasis Nestled amidst breathtaking scenery, Kerala Cottage offers a serene retreat. The comfortable rooms, delicious food, and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy relaxing activities and explore the local area. Our stay at Kerala Cottage was really amazing!! The owner and staff truly gave us a homely feel from the time we arrived. The room was very aesthetic and comfortable with all the necessary facilities. We enjoyed our evenings sitting at the balcony with the beautiful sea views.

I recently stayed at Kerala cottage and had a wonderful experience. Apart from the fact that the cottage does have some stunning views, the people here are what stood out. The owner is so humble, helpful and makes you feel like you're at home. The staff is exceptionally sweet, especially Nevin, a soft spoken, polite and an extremely helpful person we came across there.
They have such a homely breakfast, and what surprised us was that the breakfast was unlimited and not the usual pre-decided course meal. The owner himself would be around breakfast time making sure guests try every possible thing on the menu.
If you're around Kerala, and are looking for a home-stay like experience, with beautiful views, this is your place.

We had the best stay here in Kerala cottage for 3 days. The cottage was clean and well maintained with the traditional wood decors. Taiyub sir took care of us at all the time for every need of us. He even helped us with sightseeing nearby. Breakfast was served with love. Special mention to the staff who was always polite and had smiling face. Which made out stay beautiful. I recently had a wonderful girls' trip and stayed at a cottage in Verkala for three days. From the moment I saw the Kerala cottage with its mesmerizing view, I fell in love with the place. The staff were exceptionally humble, kind, and cooperative. The owner of the property was always attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and that our hospitality was top-notch.

One highlight of our stay was how the staff helped arrange a birthday cake for one of my friends, making the celebration special. The cliffs are just a 10-minute car ride away, and the hotel can arrange for an auto to pick you up and drop you off for a nominal fee of 200 Rs.
We didn't take lunch and dinner facilities. But, they provided cutlery and heating services for any food we brought, which was very convenient.

Overall, I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to stay close to nature and enjoy a peaceful environment without any noise. It was a delightful experience!

Kerala cottage is a fantastic place located perfectly, close to Odayam beach. The rooms are cosy and comfortable. Service is exceptional. Mr Nevin kept in touch with us even before we reached and assisted us whenever we needed his help! The owner Mr. Thayoob is exceptionally helpful and humble as well. They will make sure that you have no difficulties during your stay!

India is known for its hospitality, but the staff at Kerala Cottage go far above and beyond🌟

We spent a splendid week at cottage number 4, where we witnessed such attention to detail, excellence in service, and care that left us completely speechless.

The cottages are located in an absolutely stunning area with palm trees craning towards the rolling waves of the ocean, with red cliffs affording breathtaking vistas during sunset.

It’s also conveniently located to reach sights such as Mangrove Island, Kappil Beach, Jatayu Earth Centre, and Kaveri Zoo easily and speedily with a rickshaw.

While that is in itself a reason to visit and stay, what really made our time remarkable and memorable was the presence of Navin, Kavita, Tayub and the rest of the staff.

From day one Navin was ready to help us make the best of our time in Kerala. He had an ability to anticipate our needs and meet them even before we had managed to ask him. Transportation, sightseeing, restaurants, accommodation — any question we had was met with professionalism, speed, and above all genuine kindness.

Every single day when we returned from our travels, he would ask us about our day, inquire on any of our needs, and inform us of any matters we may need to know for our trip the following day.

During our breakfast (which is on the house by the way and delicious!) our orders were taken by a cheerful and humorous fellow dressed meticulously in white. Only a couple of days in to our stay, we were told that this man who was writing down our orders for pancakes and porridge was actually the owner. On the day of our departure to the airport when our cab driver’s car would not start, Tayub brought his own car and insisted that he drive us to the airport instead!

Such displays of service left us with a remarkable portrait of the people of Kerala, who taught us the meaning of excellence in hospitality, kindess in conduct, and an attentiveness in care.

P.S there’s a really cute stray black dog. He only sometimes disturbs your meditation when sitting under one of the many palm trees.

The location is so wonderful with a beachfront. It is a perfect destination for a peaceful and relaxing get away. The cottages were adorable and has a touch of authenticity. The owner is a friendly person and accommodated well with our requests. Will definitely come back for an extended stay 😀😀
