A Perfect Couple's Getaway

We stayed at this fantastic hotel for a two-night couple's getaway, and we could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Despite being a small hotel with only seven rooms, the service is truly world-class. Every little detail is carefully thought through, and the owner goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and looked after.

The breakfast was amazing—not only a feast for the eyes but also delicious. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt like we were in a home away from home.

We will definitely return and recommend this gem to everyone looking for a perfect, intimate escape.

A beautiful stay with excellent care. This villa situated atop a gorgeous hillside with a breathtaking view hospitably welcomes with utmost professionalism and class. The property is a gorgeous restored monastery with intricate stone designs and very visually appealing architecture. As if this place could not get any better; the amenities include a private spa, as well as a pool that overlooks the entire valley. The rooms are fitted with utmost detail, including plentiful quality toiletries as well as the softest pillows known to man. Once again noting the prominent hospitality, the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts catered by the staff are also a work of art, from not only the variety of delicious delicacies, but the ambiance of the dining room itself, and of course, the pleasant staff. Overall this villa is the definition of quality assurance, with the finer things being found in every little detail which makes the experience of this stay so unique and pleasant.

This hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. The view from our balcony room was gorgeous. As far as hospitality goes, we could not have asked for better service. The breakfast is wonderful, do NOT sleep in and miss this!! We had wine tastings and dinner reservations made for us as well as superb recommendations by the owner and staff. We could walk to all of our dinners and we did our own e-bike tour with guidance from staff on wineries and sightseeing.

We looked for boutique hotels in Piemont and found this lovely place in Canelli. Villa del Borgo offers great hospitality and service. Stunning view from the terrace and room on the hillsides with all the vineyards. Next time we will certainly stay longer to do some wine tasting in the area.

Patrizia is an amazing hotelier, designer and host. Her refurbished and renovated hotel has been done with impeccable style.
We stayed for two nights in the top room with lounge and bath tub overlooking the village ( but totally private). The bed provided the best sleep I had in all of Italy. This room is woth the extra money as the lounge room is just amazing.
We arrived and were offered cold water and a seat. We went for lunch at the restaurant next door ( also exceptional) and came back to find all our luggage had been taken up to our room.
We then went for a swim and apperitivo by the pool which has shade or sun with plenty of space to relax.
We checked out to go to a more expenive villa on our way back to Mila. We wish we hadn’t. It was €100 more per night and the room was tiny.
We will be back!

Our stay of three days was awesome! The location Canelli is beautiful, the building (old monastery) breathtaking, the rooms (just 8) very well taken care off, the bed luxurious, the staff very caring, the little pool refreshing, the lunch delicious and the morning cake super-duper.
All details were right. More than right. Love to come back soon! Thanks!

Absolutely stunning Hotel de Charme. First of all the location is perfect with a super view over Canelli. The suite is enormous and the most comfortable mattress and pillows.
5 star staff, very good breakfast and overall a delight to stay here. Very much recommended if you are visiting Canelli.

Everything is perfect! Ambiance, hospitality, views and environment. We were here for three days. Patrizia and her staff are so helpful and friendly, really amazing! It was a very good combination of active relaxing and we are certainly coming back again.

Nice hotel with great staff and very beautiful rooms

Amazing location. Room was impeccable and I really suggest everybody to try the suite if available. A work of art. Staff was extra kind and friendly. They arranged everything perfectly for us from arrival to check out. Don’t hesitate to ask them for a
drink or a full “aperitivo”. Breakfast was beyond any expectation. They are just on point. Awesome experience.

Stunningly lovely place to stay. Friendly, professional service. Just the right size, cozy but not cramped. Exquisite breakfast. Every detail thought out with care, aesthetically and in terms of comfort. Canelli itself is a bit of a workaday town, but as a base to explore the region, it's a great choice. Canelli does have good restaurants, which is helpful. Would absolutely stay again. Just a note - the spa services (massage) comes with quite a hefty price tag. Worth checking beforehand, just to be prepared. Quality service, nevertheless.

Very cute and tasteful place with wonderful services. The home baked breakfast was incredible. The amazing views!!

Excellent hotel that thinks of everything. The location, view, building and rooms are all beautiful and the service is best we’ve received in our years of travelling. We even changed plans and booked again to go back during the final week of our holiday.

Tutto impeccabile!
Dalla posizione alla cortesia del personale, dalla pulizia delle camere alla ricca e ottima colazione homemade. Sono stata in questo relais purtroppo solo una notte ma sicuramente tornerò volentieri. Un ringraziamento particolare alla proprietaria Patrizia e al resto del personale, tutte molto gentili e super disponibili! Ottima anche la pulizia delle camere. servizio spa eccellente.
Se passate da Canelli non potete non soggiornare qui!

Ciò che ci ha subito colpito é stata la cortesia e disponibilità del personale, che ci ha accolto con il sorriso, ha assecondato ogni nostra richiesta e ci ha guidato alla scoperta di Canelli. Quanto alla location che dire, é stupenda. Pulita, curata e con vista magnifica sia dalla camera che dalla bellissima terrazza con piscina. Tutto al top insomma. Nota di merito particolare infine va alla colazione, varia, abbondante e, non da ultimo, finalmente con Nutella a disposizione (e non quegli odiosi brick da 15 g, bensì un intero vasetto!). Già non vediamo l'ora di tornare
