Visiting the UNESCO-listed underground wine cellars at this renowned ancient winery is a truly remarkable experience not to be missed while visiting the area. The tour (starting from €25) was professionally organised (including the anti-Covid measures) and led by the knowledgeable, friendly staff and includes a tasting of four of their wines (one red, one white, one sparkling and one sweet). Booking is essential.

maybe it was because we went here early in the season, but the hospitality was first class. Because of our interest in wine overall, the host picked out extra wine to taste. And btw ask to taste the Grappa which is eminent.
