Amazing food and service. I came alone from the Philippines but the staff made me feel welcome and recommended amazingly.

Always return here when visiting the area and, consider it a real treat. Excellent service, fantastic food in an un-rushed, sophisticated setting.

Wonderful setting accompanied with such beautiful and tasty food. The staff were so fluent in English that they were able to describe how each element was constructed and the ingredients that they contained....a real rarity. Take the time to seek this gem out and you will not be disappointed.

Visiting from Australia,June saw the beginning of our road trip through northern Italy and we were absolutely delighted to find this wonderful restaurant in Canelli, what a gem, offering a true food experience, each course being perfectly matched with wonderful wines, additionally the staff were very knowledgeable and attentive to every detail, can highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

Time works differently here. We had lunch here but because we were late, the only once who ate at the restaurant was us. Didn’t change anything about the excellent food and service. It was funny to notice tho that men receive a menu with prices on it and women without. Certainly anachronistic but it’s one of those restaurants that attempts to stay as much as it can true to its own origins. Either like it or don’t. We did like it a lot.

Exquisite experience, very attentive waiters and a wonderful 8-course tasting menu. There is absolutely nothing to complain about, value for money is excellent.

Lovely restaurant. Lunch was fantastic, a mushroom pie followed by a zucchini flower risotto. Service was truly exceptional. Highly recommend for top quality traditional cuisine.

Have been to San Marco four times already and each time is truly an amazing experience. Mariuccia is a legend! We were most recently there for my father’s birthday as a family (was my parents first time in Canelli), and my dad had the time of his life! Mariuccia personally made hime his salad and gave him so many extra treats! She really knows how to spoil a birthday kid rotten on their special day! At the end of our whole 2 week Italy trip, San Marco was still my parents favorite restaurant! It’s no wonder I try to eat here whenever I’m in Canelli, they said.

Amazing food and wine, followed by a very well prepared restaurant crew. We stayed in Santo Stefano Belbo for 5 nights and we tried 5 different restaurants. Ristorante San Marco is by far the best dinner experience we had.

Just perfect, can only recommend

Perfect in almost every aspect, apart from high temperature inside and a number of very loud americans. A bit expensive but still the best price/performance ratio of all dinners during our two weeks trip.
