Hotel in the centre of a Small quiet village with excellent skiing on the door step.
All the locals were so friendly and welcoming.
Good value, quiet lifts great for intermediate Skiing .

Wow just wow! Classic ski lodge. Very comfortable we stayed for Christmas. The slopes are literally right outside. The staff was very kind and multilingual. The food was very high class. Personally I'd have preferred something more traditional, hardy, and simple. (But thats just my preference) The spa was amazing! Many different areas to relax my only slight disappointment was the hot tub was a bit tepid. The pool outside was warmer. Overall I would stay here every vacation if possible.

Very nice location. The hotel has great accomodations, with spacious rooms with a view on the montains and glaciers. The breakfast buffet is gorgeous and the cuisine of the restaurant is always tasty and well prepared. Choice of wines is really great ! The place is pets and kids friendly. The Gordon's Pub is a nice place to spend lunch and aperitivo time or just chug a beer with some friendly talk with the guys running the place. Overall what stands out is the friendliness of the staff. 5 stars well deserved ! I'll be back soon

What an awesome hotel. Such a friendly staff and the owners are just two wunderfull people. The food is outstanding (you're going home with a few extra pounds 😅).

This is a pretty big hotel with a several large communal areas. The place is clean and the staff are really very pleasant and helpful. They really try hard and that makes a big difference.

The gym is not modern and doesn’t have much equipment but for a place to do a kettle bell workout or stretch etc it’s great. There is quite a lot of space.

There is a large boot and ski/board room and the hotel itself is very close to the the slopes.

The spa is nice, well managed and has steam, jacuzzi and sauna. There are seating areas, free drinks and some fancy showers.

The restaurant is pleasant. The food is pretty simple but fine. They will cater very carefully for any dietary needs. Breakfast is pretty good. Eggs, fresh trays of honeycomb, breads, the usual. The filter coffee is … eh… it’s something. But you can ask them to make you an array of coffees on their Rancilio Silva for a small fee.

There is a very friendly Irish style bar on premises and also an outdoor fire and jacuzzi area outside it.

There are a few alternatives for coffee and snacks close by also. If you venture to another town by evening you can get a pretty cheap bus. If you have to get a taxi be careful- they might charge you a bit over the odds (€20 for a 5 min journey).

Fantastic hotel the owners are very friendly and very helpful.
We booked only for 1 night but when we asked if was possible to stay 1 extra night there was no problem at all.
Rooms are big with space to move about. The restaurant has very good food for a very reasonable price.
The spa downstairs is fantastic, exactly what you need after 1 day hiking!

This summer I had the pleasure of joining Maria, Gordon and Enzio for dinner. Thanks for your amazing hospitality and truly excellent food at the amazing price of 25 EUR for the three-course meal!
For lack of other words: it was priceless!

The place to be for skiing.

Sono stata ospite dell'albergo la prima settimana di Agosto insieme a mio marito ed al nostro cane
. Esperienza molto positiva, bellissima posizione , camere confortevoli con stanza da bagno grande. Sono stata ospitata in un lodge, stanza a piano terra con affaccio su un prato, molto utile e piacevole per chi come noi viaggiava con un cane. I cani sono ammessi anche in sala da pranzo e praticamente in tutti gli ambienti dell'hotel.
Colazione abbondante con scelta variata di cibi dolci e salati, a cena offerta ogni sera di piatti diversi, con porzioni fin troppo abbondanti.
La SPA è molto pulita e piacevole, la vasca fuori è sicuramente fantastica nella stagione invernale, ma forse la temperatura a 38 gradi in questa stagione non invoglia. Meravigliosa invece la piccola sauna esterna , ospitata in una botte con vetro panoramico e vista sul panorama circostante, per mia fortuna un po' defilata e quindi pochissimo frequentata. Immagino che la vista con la neve debba essere impagabile.

Allo Chalet du Lys abbiamo passato un ottimo soggiorno. A fare la differenza sono il personale ed il (credo) proprietario, che rendono ogni richiesta / esigenza un'opportunità per stupirti in termini di disponibilità e gentilezza. Sono decisamente eccellenti in quelli che in gergo sono chiamati "moments of truth", a contatto col cliente: trovano sempre una soluzione alle varie esigenze e lo fanno con una cordialità sincera. Dalla reception al ristorante, ai consigli personalizzati per le escursioni.

Bellissimo hotel dotato di ogni confort, compresa una piccola Spa molto pulita e con il minimo necessario.
Posizione strategica x imbattersi in lunghe camminate. Infatti da lì partono 2 funivie in direzioni opposte che portano anche oltre i 2900 mt e che da li c'è solo l'imbarazzo di scelta del percorso da intraprendere.
Stanza spaziosa dalla pulizia impeccabile. Bagno ampio dotato di termoarredo riscaldato (che è stato molto gradito). A disposizione shampoo, doccia schiuma, balsamo, crema idratante x il corpo, cuffia, cottonfioc e dischetto cotone struccante, necessary x cucito, phon.
Servizio in sala e cibo eccellente.

In genere non lascio recensioni, ma questa volta mi sento in dovere di parlare di questa struttura. Bellissime camere, ognuna con una sua particolarità (la nostra ampia e curatissima si affacciava direttamente su un prato), posizione spettacolare in mezzo alla natura con decine di possibili gite da fare partendo direttamente dall'albergo e dimenticandosi dell'auto; abbiamo respirato un' atmosfera serena che ci ha permesso di trascorrere una vacanza rilassante. Gran parte del merito va a tutto il personale, professionale ma gentilissimo, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni necessità. Noi abbiamo un grosso cane, che è stato ammesso senza problemi ovunque, e che, complice l'atrmosfera serena, si è goduto la compagnia di umani e pelosi senza che si creassero intolleranze. Non ultimo da menzionare il cibo, vario e caratteristico, e la cantina dei vini che permette una discreta scelta. Peccato non avere potuto prolungare la permanenza causa albergo al completo, ma rimedieremo la prossima volta prenotando un periodo decisamente più lungo. Grazie dell'accoglienza da parte nostra e del cucciolo!

Ospite già per la terza volta con due cani. Ottima accoglienza, personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Cucina eccellente anche per me celiaca.
Unica nota non troppo positiva è stata la stanza, non troppo bella, anche se capisco che in presenza di animali si dedichino posizioni di seconda scelta.
Consigliatissimo.
