Le Cupole

We had a lovely meal at Le Cupole and it felt like we were dining at a fine dining restaurant that's got Michelin star aspirations. Starting from the service, led by a young team of service staff who were well trained, professional, friendly and was perfect with the execution. Very commendable effort.

Chef is inventive, creative and trys to push the boundaries and that's reflected in all the dishes we tried. We had the four course menu that had large portions that we almost couldn't finish it all. The array of amuse bouche and the bread section itself is a feast in itself, all the courses were showcasing the brilliant local produce but yet very creative. This is not your typical Italian restaurant but more in the lines of chef playing with his culinary skills and your palate. We loved it and enjoyed our meal and would highly rate it for the experience, great cooking snd wonderful service.

Service: 6 stars. Very professional, I can’t recall other places I know which have a better one.
Atmosphere: 6 stars. Amazing view of Rapallo, Santa Margherita and Portofino.
Food: modern and creative. Very good quality. Not my favorite style though. I liked more as it was last year, more traditional and substantial, yet super good. I considered it to be better than any other Michelin star I have been to and I still dream about some dishes I had last year.

Overall a solid 5 star for fine dining, personally I enjoyed more the service and atmosphere than food. But that’s just personal preference. Definitely better choice for the ones looking for fancy, creative and modern cuisine.

Located above a hotel, Le Cupole has a wonderful view facing west, perfect for sunset. The menu offers many pasta and seafood dishes, as well as a variety of other options. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. Be sure to reserve ahead for tables on the outdoor terrace closest to the water for unobstructed views.

Solid meal, nice atmosphere, will be most remembered for the wonderful view.

One of the most unique restaurants in rapallo. The food is amazing and the staff who made our meal unforgettable with their great introductions were truly amazing. We recommend it to everyone.

Went here for my birthday and had a fantastic experience, we chose the degustazione menu (5 plates) and I had wine pairing to match. Davide (the cameriere) was full of information and explained all dishes extremely well. The timing of the dishes was executed precisely and the food was absolutely delicious. There is a great view from the restaurant and the experience is matched with an elegant music playlist.

Exceptional! Very reasonable price for the experience they offer: the food, the wine, the service, and the view! Unfortunately we were not too hungry when we arrived so didn’t order the tasting menu. With 4 people, a bottle of nice wine, on average 2-3 courses each person, we left with tummy exploding, it cost us less than 400 total. To be honest, this is a STEAL. I would recommend Le Cupole to anyone visiting the area, it’s worth the visit! We will come back for the full tasting menu next time!!

Amazing view, very good food and excelent service.

Quite expensive but worth the cost, good view, great food, even if the tasting menus lean heavily into the fish side of things. Waiters were extremely welcoming and friendly, some waiters english isn’t very good so when they explained some things we tended to nod it off. Still overall amazing experience!

Top place! Great venue, stunning view, excellent service (dog friendly, which is important for us) and the food whoch was out of this world. Worth every penny! Definitely coming back to try other dishes.

Had a lovely birthday dinner at Le Cupole. The sea front view is fantastic especially at sunset. Food was really nice and most importantly it was a real culinary experience, not just every day food to fill up the belly. Every dish was something I had never tried before, you could feel the creative touch of the chef.

Definitely a must do restaurant in Rapallo.The attentive staff and in particular the sommelier had us indulging in superb regional wines of Italy.Seriously curated dishes.Will return and highly recommend.

Excellent all around. Food tasted great and was well presented. Service was attentive, genuine and not pretentious. the views are out of this world. Very difficult to get table on their patio but even from the inside tables, views were amazing

Delicious. Best deconstructed tiramisu I have ever had. We were there as a group - 2 grand parents, us as parents and our 2 year old toddler. While we got a table inside (had preferred outside) the restaurant knew exactly what they were doing. It was way more chilled out for our son, us and the other romantic date night visitors. The food was amazing as was the service. We were all really pleased and it was the perfect kick off to our rapallo stay.
