The church is very nice and locates on the top of the hill. It is amazing view for a hiking path or using the cable "funicolare". It will take 8 minutes by funicolare or 1 hour on foot.
There are few restaurants, hotels, bars around here for a stop while hiking.

Went on the cable car which is a lovely trip to the top. The church is a sight to see. Stopped at the hotel,bar,restaurant below the church for our return trip. Lovely staff, hospitality, comfort, views and prices. Snacks brought to our table, all inclusive.

Gorgeous sanctuary, with a very interesting story and stunning views of Rapallo, Santa Margherita and Portofino below. Easily accessible by cablecar or by walking an ancient mule path, but you can also drive there. Inside the sanctuary you can find lots of pictures, photos, papers and letters of people who received "miracles" from the sanctuary. There's also a few bars and restaurants nearby, and lots of beautiful hikes departing from here. Highly recommended, one of my favorite places in town.

Great fun up on the funicular but try the walk down. It's easy and spectacular.
