Trattoria Rosa

Do you ever have one of those accidents where are you set your GPS and don’t pay close attention to the route and find yourself going over a big mountain or through the woods somewhere? That’s exactly what happened here when we discovered trattoria Rosa. It was a very simple place with great food good prices and excellent service. Classic Italian from Liguria, you won’t be disappointed. We went there for lunch and had just simple things, everything was quite good. Just be ready beautiful views and simple things..

The best trattoria you can find in the area! Plenty of high quality Ligurian food for a very low price! We were 3 and ate as much as we could for a total of 50€ only, wine included!

Come for the view and leave with a full belly AND wallet. Not much variety on the menù but the prices are astoundingly low and the food is pretty good limitedly to the typical Ligurian dishes.

If you had enough of bland tourist menus, pizza and panini you better try some real Italian food here. Great pasta and deserts. If you are into different tastes they serve rabbit and it is very good also. Don't be shy to try their house wine too. The road is a little bit challenging so if you don't trust yourself find yourself a ride.

One of the most special meals we have had all holiday. There was no menu, just 3 things offered that day, I had the tagliatelle and my wife the gnocchi. Both cooked perfectly. Half a liter of wine and a beautiful view.
Cannot recommend enough for a local, fresh meal.

The trattoria is overlooking Portofino and Golfo of Tigulio, a most splendid view from the mountains.

Amazing, authentic and tasteful pasta dishes😍 very good prices as well. We payed 21 euros for two main dishes, two glasses of wine, a bottle of water and two coffees.

We randomly found this place and were so happy with it! It is truly the most authentic food we've had during our trip. The owners of the restaurant are also so nice. They open at 7 pm but they opened it a little bit earlier for us as we were there prior to their opening. The pricing is also incredible compare to all other city places. Gorgeous view! Highly recommend!

Super wonderful little restaurant with a great view! The staff is super nice, it seems to be family owned. The food is great. Their inability to speak English is no problem, they will make sure you will be served something delicious. I an very happy that we stopped here and got the chance to experience a real Italian restaurant! I will definitely come back if I'm in the area!

We went twice to this restaurant. The view over the hills is really nice, the waitress from our first visit spoke really good English and even as vegetarians we got really a nice eating options.

Forget the city below, eat here! This is local fare on a plateau. Home cooking, a view only seen in coffee table books and the nicest family.
Don’t fear the heights. Drive, take the bus, take the taxi or hitch hike. Your memories will live with you forever.
Eat like your in an Italian wedding and delight your taste buds and other senses.

Excellent food, rustic appearance,, plenty of space for parties, you will need transport it's in an elevated position up a very high hill, the views are great hills/mountains, view of the sea at Rapallo not a huge menue but starters, then three or more pasta dishes, same for main courses, desert, nice wines etc. Our third time there. (above Rapallo)

Lovely, true Italian restaurant. Lovely location at the mountains. Easy to reach by e-bike from Santa Margherita Ligure. (or by car) In this restaurant you have to order in Italian language ;) Atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and welcoming.

A lovely place with an amazing view. The menu was basic but the food tasted wonderful. Not your typical tourist food trap. Cheap would go there anytime
