De Maria House Bed & Breakfast

Had a really nice stay in this B&B. The family who run it are amazing. Super friendly and helpful, always there to answer questions or book tours if you want to. We did an Amalfi coast boat tour, which was amazing.
The room was big and very clean.
The breakfast was very nice as well. Lots of choice and very tasteful.

Special note; we would be picked up very early for the boat tour so we couldn't have breakfast on the normal times. But still they went out of their way to make us a take away breakfast. This shows how incredible sweet this family is!

All in all a perfect stay! Great service, Maria does everything to make your stay as perfect and smooth as possible! She organised a scooter rental for us and helped us with questions fast and directly via WhatsApp. Breakfast was amazing, I recommend to have it outside on the terrace and the room was perfectly clean.

More than satisfied with our 4 night stay here. It was convenient base location for making day trips to Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Naples etc. There is free parking on site. Place was very clean and affordable. Beautiful view from the balcony. Breakfast options may seem limited (for some people) but I have 0 complaints as we always left fully satisfied.

This place is run by a wonderful family who were very kind and responsive right from the beginning and accommodating to our needs. I am super impressed by the old lady who still works at this age, prepares excellent food with a lot of passion. I love her and find her very inspiring. I hope folks seeing this review support this place run by genuine and honest family. I hope to comeback here in the future.

Best place that you can stay in Italy! They are all great, the breakfast is great and the room is great! Besides all that, the location is very central and easy to get to all places.
They also offer some tour that picks you up and drop you off. I can’t recommend it enough!

What A GREAT SURPRISE. Staying at the De Maria B&B was terrific. I enjoyed my short time there. The family run establishment made me feel like I was home. My room was large and super clean. We ate breakfast and dinner all cooked by Maria with ingredients from the garden. Funny, when when we got up for breakfast she insisted on cooking an omelet. Delicious! Her Italian sauce is out this world.
I recommended the property to friends who equally loved staying there.
The one drawback for guest could be the location is not close to the beach. You would need a car or take the bus or hike down to the coast.
But I liked De Maria so much I would stay again.

This place cannot be faulted! There is not one bad thing i can say about this B&B. For a start its superb value for what you get! The location is secluded up the mountains and is not far from sorrento. And because its up the mountains all the rooms have an unbelievable view! The whole B&B is beautifully decorated with modern furniture, colourful walls and flat screen TVs. The rooms are just nice places to be. if your not looking at your amazing view down the mountain you ar enjoying your flat screen tv with hundreds of tv channels! There is also a cool mp3 player that you can turn on in your room which plays great random songs in italian and in english! The B&B is run by a family who are just the nicest people you can meet. they make you feel like part of the family for the whole duration on your stay. We found ourselves watching the champions league final together with all the family and guests. great fun all round! Now, on to the food. It is unbelievable!!!! and so cheap that includes the beer too! the pizza we had was to die for! and we had the choice to have whatever toppings we wanted! followed by limoncello and limone gelato!! Amazing. There is seriously not one bad thing we can say about this place. there should be no doubt of where you are going to stay if your are visiting the area of sorrento. The hardest part of the holiday was saying goodbye to this wonderful place and the beautiful, friendly people that run it.

As a native born Italian who was born just down the street in Napoli, this has to be the best place I've stayed that brings the old family taste of home to the table and a modern B&B. It was like my grandmother was cooking in the kitchen. Tastes of childhood exploded my taste buds and the views brought back sweet memories. The pasta was cooked perfectly and they even prepared something off the menu. If you want a beautiful place to stay and feel like you are part of an Italian family this is the place to stay. You can't see it from the road . Instead you take special enclosed stairs down from the road into a beautifully decorated resturant, a georgeous patio with a qiwi tree and 7 wonderful quiet bungalows. Look for Pic Nic, De Maria House.

It's a wonderful B&B within 4Km walking distance from Sorrento.

Perfect room, perfect breakfast, perfect host, perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. Very clean. Peaceful. We will definitely be going back! 😊

Did not stay there, but we were blessed by Theresa's hospitality and her food is excellent!!! If I ever have the chance to pass by there again I would definitely try the whole experience and stay there!!! From what I have seen and tried for myself, I think it would be a great experience!!

This Was my first night in De Maria house and have to say the the welcome with got was great, lovely family business,there’s free car parking (which is essentially,it looks very secure,the roads can be a bit dicey,but after all-your driving around a mountain,looking forward to the rest off my stay,so I will fill you in how I get on.

Maria has excellent service. Rooms are clean and her towels are sparkling white and clean.

Nice, modern and clean!

Nos sentimos como en casa. Con eso digo todo. Nos trataron muy bien. Fueron muy atentos y siempre se mostraron a disposición de nuestras necesidades e inquietudes. El desayuno es muy bueno y variado.
La habitación que nos tocó estuvo muy bien. Impecable. Amplia y luminosa. Con vista a las huertas y limoneros linderos.
Vistas increibles desde lo alto de la montaña.
En cuanto a la ubicación, diría que si bien no esta muy cerca de Sorrento (centro), nos sirvió para conocer los pueblos de Santa Agata y Torca que son hermosos y acogedores.
Bajar a Sorrento está a solo 30min por autobus, la parada está enfrente al alojamiento y los tickets se compran a unos 50mts de allí.
Lo recomendaría una y mil veces.
Si vuelvo a la costa Amalfitana, vuelvo a De Maria House❤
