This place was recommended by two people and so we went along for dinner. It did not disappoint! The pizza was outstanding! The pizza sauce was incredible. We also ordered two entree, the artichokes and the hot cheese, both were delish. The service was fast and friendly, and at no time did we feel rushed, even when it started to fill up with other customers.
Just to add, the table behind us had six young boys seated, about 10-12 years old. They ordered their meals and the staff we professional and respectful to them. I often watch to see how staff interact with other customers and they did a fabulous job.

The food was amazing, but Gildo’s service was the best service we had gotten in all of Sorrento! He is very attentive and kind, thank you for making our night. We definitely recommend this place. House wine was perfect.

The 🍕 pizza is delicious!!
From the train station go down the hill and turn right for about a block. We went two days in a row.

Best pizza and most authentic meal in Sorrento.
Pizza is more like roman thin pizza.
Delicious👍🇮🇹

Love such a place. Great contrast to fine dining, ristorante service, and so on - just sit down and have a great meal. Excellent pizzas. Kind of a hybrid of roman style pizzas and neapolitan pizzas.

My first neapolitan pizza, perfection & simplicity. This was the first place I wanted to come to on my itinerary, it did not disappoint. Also where me and my wife were introduced to Limoncello Spritz. She was jokingly redirected when she asked for Limoncello and Lemonade, best bit of advice she has ever had.

I would recommend anyone to come here.

Authentic, delicious, casual. Ask for the Sorento-style pizza. More crusty and crispy compared to Naples-styled pizza.

What a gem of a spot. You have to go here for Pizza, make sure you get Carmine to serve you, what a character!

Great pizza, beer and service!

Lovely pizza place that opens 'til late at night. We just arrived in Sorrento after coming from Napoli's airport. It was heart-warming to experience the nice service and bright atmosphere at Franco's.

I would recommend the pizza with pork, potato and smoked mozzarella as it has so so much flavour!

I enjoyed the beer as well 😁

Great little restaurant just out of the main busy area or Sorrento. The team were fantastic and and made time to engage with customers.
The food was some of the best we had on our holiday. It was recommended by our Air B&B host as a secret gem not to miss out on. They were right.
Definitely worth a visit. They also do takeaway.
Only downside was seeing the amount of single use plastic being used for cutlery.

This place was recommended by our chef at a cooking class for the "best pizza in town". While I haven't tried every restaurant, the variety of pizza options and the quality of what I got definitely lends some truth to the statement. Unlike many others, the pizza didn't feel like it was falling apart in sections. My partner got a pizza sandwich and the only surprise was that it didn't quite look like what was pictured in the menu, but was still amazingly good. Definitely on my list of places to come back to next time I visit.

Quiet little pizzeria with COLD air conditioning and their own wine label. I had the porchetta Stromboli and my wife had the Napalitano pizza. Both were amazing. Order at the table, pay at the counter.

My opinion might be coloured cause walked in very hungry...but boy, did this place deliver. The most basic of eateries...serving the most incredible pizza's (even accommodating a request for change in ingredients). Wish I could start eating all over again! Just one suggestion - get rid of the disposable plates and cutlery please. Mother Earth deserves better :)

The best pizza that we had .
They were really quick to serve like less than 10 min and it was ready . We had the Diavola pizza , it was spicy but we loved it. The waiters were friendly . I recommend it .

Great spot about 2-3 min walk from train station. Service was great. Reasonably priced. Not in the pizza area of Sorrento. Highly recommend for lunch.

Food: The pizza was delicious. The roast pig and potato one was great, as was a mortadella and pistachio one. Everything there was wonderful. The crust was crispy but not burnt, and tasted amazing. The toppings were delicious but not overpowering, a perfect balance.
For dessert we tried their panna cotta as well as a caprese, since they were unfortunately out of tiramisu. The caprese was a dense yet light cake, tasting of chocolate a nutty taste, that was again not overpowering. The panna cotta had a good amount of fruit sauce and was really delicious.
Drinks: They did not have anything special, I had a chinotto which washed my pizza down perfectly. They offer a basic selection of soft drinks, beers, water and others.
Ambience: The space felt warm and homey, with wooden tables and benches and plenty of people filling the space. A nice place to have a pizza and catch up with some friends.
Service: Despite there being a queue to get inside, we didn’t wait longer than a few, maximum 15, minutes to get inside. The service was quick and waiters were all very friendly. They were quite busy and forgot our drinks but this wasn’t even a problem, as another waiter got it for us a few minutes later. The staff were friendly and joking around with us too. Everything is served with disposable items, including plastic cutlery and greaseproof paper under pizzas. This was the only downside, as it was difficult to cut the pizza into additional slices with the plastic cutlery, though I understand that it is done for efficiency. The walls next to the tables also have plugs equipped with USB chargers, making it easy for even foreigners to charge devices. They also offered free wifi, but I didn’t manage to connect to it.
Price: The place was very affordable, with pizzas being around €10 for something quite filling. The desserts were also fairly priced, and overall it was a filling and affordable meal.
